Chase Landon is becoming the Jean Grey of the WFWF. That's two lives out of nine.

Chase Landon is becoming the Jean Grey of the WFWF. That's two lives out of nine. And that's not counting the contingency scenario in which he enters the White Hot Room to embrace the Phoenix Force.

Not sure I'll be able to do this show because I've got a lot going on. Then it's the PPV, so I probably shouldn't debut then. Well damn.
Should I sign up and maybe take a no show or just wait like a month to jump in?

I'd just sign up for the PPV man. Get the juices flowing.

I'd just sign up for the PPV man. Get the juices flowing. Good deal. I'll take a dark match or whatever for the PPV. Wish I could make this show, but I've got a lot going on and I don't know if I'd be able to write anything that wasn't half-asses.

Drakz can we get Yukio's banner changed? He's an International Champ, National Champ, Tag Champ but he is a Hall of Famer, which is missing.

So here's something a little fun with a bit of relevance to what we do here.
My first semester of college (which took place during the Red Sox 86 year drought just in case anyone wanted to rip me for being old again) found me taking English Comp I, since I was mostly trying to knock out gen eds at the time. I actually dug the sh*t out of this class, since it really boiled down to "here's a prompt, give me 5 pages" which really played to my strengths and made for an easy only A I got for the next 5 years of my post secondary attempts.
Anyway, some of you know I moved house recently. You find some odd sh*t moving house. For me, it was a plaque for an award I won that semester for excellence in descriptive writing. I also found the descriptive essay, which I'm absolutely not going to recreate here because it's absolute trite sh*t that I never imagined in a million years that anyone would ever read outside of my professor, but that's kind of where I'm going with this.
See, no one in the class knew this, but the day the papers were due, we came into class and were paired off into twos, handed the task of reading aloud to one another our descriptive essays, to see if, by dictating the words we'd put on paper to another human, we'd effectively described the person, place, or scenario we'd chose to focus on.
Awkwardness aside (the girl I paired off with wrote about her dying live-in grandmother, and I wrote about the wake of one of my best friends which had taken place like two months prior), this was really one of the most notable writing exercises I've ever taken part in. The essay at the time was sh*t, but look back on most 5, 10, or 15 year increments in your life and most prior output is.
Point is, if you're having trouble describing a scene without it coming off as a bit "see Spot chase the big red ball", then give this a try. It's humbling, awkward, and downright terrifying, but those sort of emotions will knock you on your a** and really push the pedal down in your drive to improve.
