Starting to regret signing up for this show. I'm still sick as a dog. I think it may be bronchitis. I might (probably should) go to urgent care tomorrow and get some prescription drugs. Oh well. Maybe I'll just give Frank bronchitis too and the entire rp will be cough cough cough Is that my lung on the floor? cough cough cough You better roll over and play dead or I will cough on you! Fear me! I'm contagious!

Sooooo...I'm gonna try a cattle drive soon. We need it bad. But while I do, I want to present this to you guys. forum.wrestlingfigs.com/thread/348404/starting-2k18-caws-league-twitchMy Twitch is taking off, and I wanna have some fun with you guys and my other friends. If you wanna be in, just say so there. Doesn't have to be your WFWF guys unless you want them to be, but I think this could be fun for everyone, and maybe some cheap plugs for WFWF if it gets big enough.

Y'all can blame the lack of results on me if you want. I committed to a segment on Tuesday, and then Wednesday morning my life just went into a whirlwind of sh*t to do and deadlines and all that. I'm bushed today and doing nothing, but the positives sort of outweigh the negatives in the end. Between then and now, I attended a meeting with the mayor, took part in a discussion on the opioid crisis smacking my city around, did a little exercise, went and saw Kesha, got myself just about all caught up at work in the midst of a mid year audit, made a 90 minute commute in 63 minutes, watched my wife run a 5k, ate some cider donuts, and today, I found all seven new Halo Top flavors and 3 of the new Polar flavors.
Also I wrote that segment.
We good?

I really want to make fun of you but back in the 90s I saw Metallica and Madonna in the same month so I guess I don't have any wiggle room here.

I went and saw Nickelback about a week ago... feel free to hate me if you so desire. Though I mainly went because Cheap Trick was opening for them, they do put on a pretty solid live show.

I mean, you could, but at any rate, I, much like Kesha, don't give two f*cks. Nah, but whatever. I've been down with that chick since I first heard Your Love is My Drug. I don't really have a litmus test for music - if I digs it, I digs it. That, and her new record is dope. If you're even passingly familiar with that sh*t with her producer, it packs a punch, and it's rad as sh*t to finally see the artist she sees herself as versus the one that dude created to make a cheap buck. FACK the Dr. Luke

I should be able to muster something by midnight tonight though.

I hung out with my bookie in NYC all weekend. I am up about 2 grand after a nice Saturday full of college football, alcohol and other substances. And today I spent around a bunch of Italian guys who may have inspired The Sopranos at Foxwoods casino. I have never witnessed people waste money like these guys. They don't f*ck around. Nonstop drinking and gambling. It was heaven. God I wish I could have been born a guido.

I fly my pirate flag high, death to fake rock n roll To be honest, due to my too many years as a college radio DJ from '85 to '92, I usually tend towards unknown local bands whether it was when I was in Philly going to every Bardo Pond, Mondo Topless, or King Carcass show or when in Boston catching every Abunai! and Lockgroove show. I'll give Metallica and Madonna props for putting on a true spectacle of a show but I much prefer to see the kinds of bands that play smaller, seedier clubs and bars.

I saw Metallica this past summer. It ruled. I used to go to a lot more shows - mostly small scale, local-ish affairs, but I think the combination of having a kid, getting old, and most of my favorite venues closing kinda killed a lot of the passion for me.
TT the Bears closing down was sort of the final straw.

the last concert I went to was The S**t Disturbers. a bunch of kids were moshing way too hard like idiots and disrupted the show. Lead singer threw the mic stand into the crowd. Venue shut the show down and called the police.
I miss the punk rock I grew up with

The last gig I went to was these lads last week in a tiny back room of a pub with about 100 people packed in like sardines, sweating like f*ck. It was ace.

The only act I go and see with any regularity anymore is the group in my signature, only because US visits from them are far and few between.

It's a new place now, all polished and expensive like. I haven't been in. I thought it couldn't get much worse than the Abbey Lounge closing, then that one went and hit me.
