PPV Panel: Mean Gene Okerlund, Booker T, Jerry Lawler & Mick Foley
Announcers: Michael Hayes, JBL & Christian
Ring Announcer: Lilian Garcia
Pre Show: Big E def. Ryback with a Big Ending. New Day celebrated afterwards like they just won the Super Bowl.
Welcome to Fast Lane. A gigantic, and really cool race car is seen on the stage as the road to Wrestlemania is winding down. The Dudley Boyz come out first.
Dudley Boyz def. The Usos when D-Von knocked Jey off the top rope on a Superfly splash attempt, Jey’s face guillotined the top rope which allowed Bubba to score the win with a Bubba Bomb.
WWE Network is promoted.
The Social Outcasts come out minus Adam Rose. They are in a serious mood as the Bunny was assaulted by League of Nations on Smackdown. Heath Slater gets in the ring and says that the League of Nations’ actions were uncalled for last week on Smackdown. Slater mentions that Adam Rose is distraught and so sick that he couldn’t even be here tonight at Fast Lane. Slater challenges Rusev to a match to fight for his friend’s honor. Rusev comes out accompanied by Sheamus, Barett & Del Rio. Rusev gladly accepts Slater’s challenge.
Rusev def. Heath Slater with a kick to the side of the head
Up next, we are brought back to ringside where the announcers recap Big Show’s beat down of Neville last week on Raw. “The United States Champion is minutes away from shocking the world with a huge announcement.” JBL says and speculates what it could be.
Big Show’s song hits. As the world’s largest athlete comes to the ring. Big Show said he’s heard a whole bunch of rumors as far as his announcement is concerned tonight. Big Show says he is not here to eat Hornswoggle or El Torito, or announce his retirement as some have speculated. Big Show holds up his United States Championship. He reminds the WWE Universe what being a champion means to him. Show says he is a fighting champion, and at Wrestlemania he wants to defend his title against a worthy opponent. So for the first time ever in a one-on-one match here in this promotion, I will defend my United States Championship vs. Sting. Big Show thanks the WWE Universe for his time then leaves as the proud champion he is. The announce team is speechless when Christian reminds JBL & Michael Hayes that Big Show eliminated both Sting and Sting’s bat from the Royal Rumble match. JBL says he’s known Big Show for 20 years and Show may regret this decision.
Divas Championship Match: Natalya def. Brie Bella with a Sharpshooter submission to win the title. Lana provided broken English commentary at ringside. She ended up kicking Brie with her heel while Brie was on the ropes at one point during the match, while the referee was distracted, thus costing her the match.
Miz TV featuring Guests: The Rock & Batista
Miz comes out first. Welcomes everyone to the usual Miz TV. Miz calls out Batista who spends 10 minutes flexing his muscles before The Miz introduces The Rock. The Rock comes out and Tells Miz & Batista that “Finally…The Rock has come back to… Miz TV???” And then tells Miz To “Know His Role and Shut His Mouth.” Miz is offended. Miz reminds The Rock this is his TV show. Batista interrupts and questions the Rock. “How dare you disrespect this man who was nice enough to invite us here tonight.” “While you were making awful movies, people like Miz & myself were breaking our backs for this business and winning several championships.” The Rock says, “Woa, woa, woa, you want to talk about awful movies… The Rock talks about Santa’s Little Helper, Marine 3 & 4, and then turns to Batista and says he thinks that Big Dave was some kind of alien in Guardians of the Galaxy who played a negligible role.” Miz calls Rock the Tooth Fairy, then cheap shots the People’s Champion. Batista begins stomping away on The Rock as this is now a 2-on-1 assault. At the pre-show panel table, Mick Foley is seen rising out of his chair. Foley limps down the aisle, (he can barely walk anymore) and gets in the ring. Batista immediately Spears Foley. The Rock & Sock Connection is down in the ring. The Miz raises Batista’s hand. Batista’s song hits as he and The Miz leave together in what appears to be a strangely formed new alliance.
WWE Network is promoted. The Rock & Mick Foley are helped to the back.
Dolph Ziggler comes out as the announcers recap Smackdown, where Jericho assaulted Ziggler with a microphone in the main event vs. Brock Lesnar. We are also reminded what is at stake here as Jericho has been pulling to get an IC Title Match. Michael Hayes says that a win here for Jericho would certainly put him in line for a title shot. After another classic battle with back and forth action from these two great athletes, Ziggler jumped off the second rope looking for a Cross Body when a Jericho struck Dolph with a sudden Code Breaker for the win.
Backstage – Rosa Mendes has caught up with the new Divas Champion Natalya. Rosa mentions that circumstances were somewhat controversial tonight as Lana interfered. Natalya tells Rosa that she should be home with her baby if she is going to try to take away her championship victory tonight. Rosa is surprised by these comments from Natalya when she replies by asking Natalya if she plans on giving Brie a re-match. Before Natalya can answer, Ric Flair & Charlotte show up. Charlotte declares that she will be the next Divas Champion and beating Natalya would be the easiest opponent for her to beat. Paige comes in to the picture and says to Charoltte that the only way she is winning the Divas Championship is if she literally steals the title like Emma did in NXT. Paige asks Nattie to go out into the town and celebrate her victory. Natalya agrees to join Paige as the segment ends.
Roman Reigns song hits. Roman out through the crowd. Ambrose out next. Neville runs out to join them as we are set for a huge 6 man tag match. The Wyatts come out. Michael Hayes reminds us of Smackdown where Bray declared himself the monster on your bed. Roman & Rowan started this match. Reigns took out Rowan with a Superman punch. Roman tagged in Neville who dropkicked Bray off the apron. Bray started flipping out and ripping up the announce table and ringside area. Neville then tagged in Ambrose who was dying to get in on the action. Neville flew out of the ring as he turned his attentions to Bray Wyatt. Rowan was able to make it back to his feet. After shoving Dean down, Rowan tagged in Harper which totally changed the complexion of this match. Reigns again went after Rowan which allowed Harper to Ambrose with a Michanoku Driver for the win.
Main Event Time for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship: The Champ Brock Lesnar comes out first with Paul Heyman. Undertaker is out next. JBL reminds us that we haven’t seen Undertaker since just after Survivor Series when he defeated Brock Lesnar on Raw. Before the match begins, The Authority song hits as Triple H comes down to watch this match from ringside near the announce table. The typical war between The Beast and The Deadman was once again seen here. Undertaker had Brock in Hell’s Gate when Brock picked him up and powerbombed Taker. Brock waited for Taker to slowly get up as Lesnar hit Taker with a German Suplex as Suplex City is here. Lesnar tries an F5 but an eye rake allows Taker to counter. Taker hits a Big Boot on Lesnar knocking the champion down. Taker signals the end. A Tombstone is attempted and executed. Undertaker crosses Brock’s arms. Undertaker has the champ defeated. 1-2… The Dudley Boyz jump in the ring and break up the 3 count. The announce team is yelling “What the hell?” And “No!” going crazy. Unexpectedly, the Dudley Boyz have ruined this main event. Paul Heyman tugs on Lesnar’s legs as Brock rolls out of the ring. Lilian Garcia announces: The winner of this match as a result of a disqualification – The Undertaker. However still WWE World Heavyweight Champion – Brock Lesnar.” Meanwhile, The Dudleyz who have broken up the 3 count have Undertaker at their feet. Bubba Ray pushes D-Von and demands that D-Von get The Tables. Michael Hayes at commentary says the Dudleyz claimed to be done using tables. JBL shockingly says, “that doesn’t matter now.” D-Von tosses a table into the ring. Bubba Ray & D-Von set the table up near the turnbuckle closest to the entrance steps. D-Von picks up Taker from behind, hands him to Bubba Ray on the turnbuckle, who then delivers a Powerbomb through a table to Undertaker. The WWE Universe is shocked. D-Von picks up the pieces of the table and tosses them out of the ring. “YOU THINK WE ARE DONE DEADMAN? Bubba yells. “THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING.” “WELCOME BACK TO DUDLEYVILLE.” Bubba Ray Dudley picks up Undertaker and tosses him over the top rope and out of the ring. Undertaker is out cold on the ramp. JBL quietly says that we haven’t seen a beat down of Undertaker like this ever. D-Von stomps on Taker on the ramp. Bubba Ray grabs Undertaker’s arms and drags him to the top of the stage. The Dudley Boyz start pandering to the WWE Universe. “WE TOLD YOU!” Bubba yells repeatedly. Undertaker sits up. The fans are going crazy now as Deadman has some fight left in him. The Dudley Boyz get into 3D position by the race car that was conveniently placed on the stage for tonight’s event. Undertaker gets to his feet, but The Dudleyz hit the 3D on the hood of the race car as Fast Lane concludes.
