The Main Event!Lucas Crowe vs. Trevor WolfLast week saw Lucas Crowe lose and gain a number of things. He lost his WFWF National Championship to one Samael Ahriman but he then gained his second title in the WFWF by winning it straight back. He also gained the alliance of the sole owner of the WFWF Trace Demon and the WFWF World Heavyweight Champion Drakz but in doing so lost the respect of the WFWF fans. To call the circumstances under which Crowe started his second title reign controversial is an understatement and few men know this better than Mr Trevor Wolf. Trevor was in Samael’s corner during that match and was unable to do anything about what happened after the initial pin fall as the numbers were so heavily stacked against him. His involvement in the match itself though gained him a little something as well………if you consider 6’ 10” little of course. Crowe wants to teach Wolf a lesson and of course Trace has granted him that opportunity but look at it this way, if Wolf can pick up a victory here he will the name on everyone’s lips going into Black Hole Sun, and isn’t that the best thing an upstart in this company can ask for? The Welcome Back PartyDex vs. Trace DemonDex is back in the WFWF and the former WFWF World Champion has his sights set on proving once and for all that he deserves that moniker. There’s just one thing that might make this homecoming a little less fun, maybe you’ve figured it out already. Yes, that’s right, Trace Demon. Need we say more? Oh, we do need to because we can’t do short write ups? Fine. Trace Demon, the owner of the WFWF, has decided to personally host Dex’s welcome back party, declaring it his joint welcome back present to Dex and his goodbye present to Shawn Malakai. Dex, one time champion as a result of Malakai’s bizarre decision to just hand over the title to whoever he felt like at the time, will have to prove that the decision of a deadman was a smart one because if he doesn’t he could become a deadman himself. It’s a welcome back party for the ages and yes, there will be punch. There will actually be many of them. Two Men Are Gonna Fight... That's Pretty Normal Around Here ActuallyQuenton Alexander vs. Brandon BisonAt “Nowhere to Run” Brandon Bison picked up a huge victory over WFWF stalwart Cam Nitta. While this might be a setback for the returning former National Champion it’s a huge surge of forward momentum for the recently debuting Bison. This go around he gets to test his mettle on the other side of the looking glass as Bison finds himself across the ring from a man making HIS debut in the WFWF, Quenton Alexander. We don’t know much about Alexander but if he can score a victory over Bison in his very first match then he may just be able to steal all of that aforementioned momentum and leap frog his way up the card. It’s Another Four Way!(Just not the fun kind)Mike Jette vs. Dr Mantis Toboggan MD vs. Wilbur Richardson vs. Zoe SchaeferStrike what we said up there, there actually isn’t a fun kind of four way. Way too many body parts for this disembodied voice’s liking. Anyway… In what is becoming tradition for the WFWF the show will open with another big four way between four (who’d have thought it) competitors all looking to leave their mark on the WFWF. Last week Jette found himself on the losing side of this exact kind of match, well, technically he didn’t get pinned, but if you’re not a winner you’re a loser, right? Likewise, Zoe Schaefer came up short against David James. Both will be looking to put momentum back on their sides but will have more than each other to deal with to get it done, because we don’t like making things simple. Enter Wilbur Richardson, a self-professed manly man (though he’ll have some difficulty topping a certainly manliest manly man) and Dr. Mantis Toboggan. A 68 year old creepy ass doctor who looks oddly like a character from a show I watch. Screw it. Just let them fight. As always anyone wanting to write a match for the show is free to do so. Let me know in this thread and I'll update this post to match. Helping out with results means a quicker turn around and less summaries which we all want, because summaries suck worse than Andrew Carter. I'm contemplating writing my match. Do it - it's a complete descriptive mind f*ck the first time you do it because it's really not like anything you could really ever write. There's something else that goes into writing a match and getting the point across so that it comes off as something more than just "X does this , Y does this, etc." for the whole run, but if you put some earnest effort into it, it will help improve your descriptive abilities.

I'm contemplating writing my match. Do it. I'm positive @taxicabman won't write it. And you're on an absolute steamroll right now.

I second this. Putting sequences, momentum shifts, etc. together really forces you to think about the approach. If it helps, this is the equivalent of Raw or Smackdown. So think about what you would like to see in a Raw or Smackdown match and have fun with it.

Going to wait a bit before trying to write matches again. I was never that great at them anyways. Much prefer the people who know what they're doing in that field.

You were a good match writer, and it really showed in the five or so shows where you were owner with me while we were going through the Ace to Demon transition. I just know Brandon the person well enough.

But you know if really jonesing for a writer during a show or two I'll try to break that rust off as well.
