So, what are some of your method for preserving the quality of your figure? Does air condition environment damage the figure in the long run?

Not playing with them.
I believe the older VAC titles are the only things to lose quality over time with no wear

I don't think I've ever heard of air conditioners damaging figures. I do know to keep them out of sun light, also extreme heat can cause damage especially if they're MOC.
Here's a quick tip on loose joints though. Just in case you don't know. On occasion if my joints get loose on my figures, I usually use pledge floor polish to tighten the joints. Works like a charm Everytime.

I dont believe air conditioning will do anything to them, though the opposite would most likely be an issue. As if you dont have AC and the temp gets hot enough its possible the rubber will get softer and the weight of the figure could cause the legs to warp.
But in AC/out of direct sunlight, you should be good

I have my figures in a big container, with all of their accessories in another container.

Plastic deteriorates over time, you can't stop it unless you seal them in a vacuum chamber or something. Most of the old toys I have are sticky, even the ones as recent as the mid 2000's. Keep in mind these are toys, and designed as such, they aren't meant to last forever.
That said, some of my old figures are doing just fine being displayed on a dusty shelf, with no special care. Clearly the type of plastic used affects the toy's lifespan. For example, some of Mattel's DCUC figures are starting to get gross, while really old Transformers toys have zero issues.

I try to watch what I eat and exercise. For my figure.
As for my wrestling figures, they are in a smoke free environment(no clue why people would want to smoke in their house), out of sunlight and I just try to be careful with my figures on display.

Cause mine over the years of display show signs and crack on the seams!!

I have mattel wwe figures starting at the first series, and not one of the seams are messed up from standing on my shelves...................

Even figures from the same toy line have different signs of deterioration. LOTR figures are really bad with this, all those soft rubbery pieces just melt, especially if they're in contact with other plastics.

Maybe you should run a check to see whether there are any sign of deteriorating in the seams.

The biggest issue I have after nearly 40 years is white plastic starting to yellow. My oldest Millenium Falcon and X-wings are dingy looking. Some stuff you probably can't help because it's just cheap plastic. Recently I snapped some 12" GI Joe elbows just by bending them and they're only 10-15 years old.

I have a toy room full of all kinds of figures. And I have no issues of toys just deteriorating from just standing there.
Even have vintage toys such as motu, gi joe, transformers...

Actually there is an awesome method of getting rid of yellowing plastic. Peroxide , a clear tote and sunlight. Just do a net search for the meathod. I've seen someone do it with a gi joe uss flagg.
