This is surprising IMO. It sucks because I was starting to enjoy Eric Young again as the crazy character he was doing, especially when he was feuding with Chris Melendez because I honestly found it funny when he took Melendez's leg, and then when he explained why he did, he was like, "I just thought of that at the top of my head". It sucks that Roode is leaving because I was enjoying Beer Money as a team again. I honestly don't think that either one will either want to go to WWE or that WWE (HHH.......) would be interested in getting them, but then again I thought James Storm would never go to WWE because of his age, and then he spend a couple of months in NXT.

I could easily see Roode in NXT. He'd be perfect as a top heel champion. His friends Storm, Joe, & Aries can all give him advice on what it's like to work there.
Young I bet ends up with JJ in GFW. I believe Young has always been close with JJ. And For some reason I don't know if NXT would be a good fit for him or not.

Wow!
One of two things here...
1: I hope Jer and Bobby go to NXT.
2: I bet James Storm is kicking himself in the ass now for signing with TNA again and not going with NXT.

Well, crap.
Still...what else was there for them to do? They've been in the company for 10+ years...it's for the best of both that they branch out and try something else.

I agree wholeheartedly with both of these comments... I bet James Storm is kicking himself in the ass now for signing with TNA again and not going with NXT. it's for the best of both that they branch out and try something else.

You know, seeing the all American tag team of Jason Jordan and Chad Gable feud with a Canadian tag team of Eric Young and Bobby Roode wouldn't be too bad either.
Let's be honest, there was no way Storm and Roode were gonna be "Beer Money" in NXT. That is a TNA thing. But Jer and Bobby could do a Canadian gimmick in NXT for a while until they transitioned into singles stars (aka until Triple H gets his hands on Bobby Roode and makes him the NXT Champion).

I like Roode a lot and can see him in NXT.
Eric Young was good, but it's great to see him transitioning from TNA to other things.

I'm kind of shocked that they both are leaving TNA. TBH I can't wait to see what they are planning to do now with their departure from TNA.

I think both will end up with GFW. Both have close relationships with JJ. Roode was a solid hand....no more, no less. EY was worthless. I think he did find a character finally with his psychotic personality. But his in ring work has always been subpar and I have NEVER found him remotely entertaining.

God. Dammit
I was really enjoying the Beer Money reunion. But, hopefully this means Booby Rooooooooooooooo pops up in NXT.
I can live with EY leaving, but it sucks to see another long-time TNA guy going.
I hope this doesn't hurt the quality momentum IMPACT has been building lately.

Look up his Indy work when he wrestled in Ontario, Canada back in 2001 and such. He used to feud with "Danger Boy" Derek Wylde. In one match, EY piledrove Derek off a ladder in the ring, through tables that were outside on the floor. TNA kind of shackled him with being a coward in Team Canada, then being a joke of a character for years until they gave him the World Title. He deserved better than what he got in TNA.

And so the last TNA original James Storm remains with TNA, very sad TNA is losing all their best talents. Hopefully Bobby Roode goes to NXT, it's really the top guy WWE has never got. Eric Young would be a great addition to NXT as well, heck I would love if he became the comedy act of WWE

Bobby Roode and Eric Young have requested and been granted their releases from TNA Wrestling. They finished up their storylines at tonight’s TV tapings in Orlando. Both men have been with the company since 2004.
TNA issued the following statement, saying:
“Impact Wrestling has come to terms on the release of veteran wrestlers Bobby Roode and Eric Young (Jeremy Fritz). Bobby and Eric have been valuable members of The Impact Roster since 2004 and we wish them nothing but the best in their careers going forward.
Bobby had this to say earlier today, “To the guys and girls I got to work with for the past 12 years, Impact Wrestling, the office and everyone associated with me getting to live this dream, I say thank you. It is time for me to move on to the next chapter in my life. This has been amazing.”
Eric Young had this to say. “Thank you. Thank you to everyone who watched me for the past 12 years. Thank you to Impact Wrestling. I wish everyone here nothing but the best going forward.”
Executive Vice President of Creative and Television, John Gaburick added, “Bobby and Eric are true professionals. We salute them for the 12 years they gave TNA.
With a Superstar roster including EC3, James Storm, Drew Galloway, Jeff and Matt Hardy, “The Destroyer” Bobby Lashley, Gail Kim, The Wolves, Maria Kanellis-Bennett and “The Miracle” Mike Bennett we couldn’t be more excited about showcasing the finest wrestling in the world for the Impact fans.”
In the coming weeks be sure to see the final matches of both Bobby Roode and Eric Young on Impact Wrestling at 9PM EST on Pop TV.”

Don't really care about Eric Young but this is Bobby Roodes chance to come to WWE, he's not getting any younger
