So in Canada, we get our WWE Network on TV, its an actual TV channel. And Friday night, at around 2 am, I was bored and watching TV and I saw Superstars was coming on. So I gave it a watch since nothing else was on at the moment. The opening match was between Summer Rae and Natalya. And I thought, "great, a quick 3 minute diva match."
The match itself ended up being longer than most diva matches, and actually had wrestling in it. I didn't know that Summer Rae could actually, you know... wrestle! She did the Owen Hart style indian deathlock on Natalya, and was actually going toe to toe with Natalya in mat wrestling.
If anyone hasn't seen the match, I recommend checking it out. It proves that girls like Summer Rae CAN wrestle and work a match. It's not the greatest diva's match of all time, but it shows that girls like Summer can be just as good as the popular divas that the fans love.

I'll check it out. Natalya is one of my favorites. Seeing Summer Rae go toe to toe with her sounds great. Thanks for the recommendation.

It is bs that the "Horsewomen" get the only credit, but I do think they are the best women on either roster. But thankfully, people are caring more about Asuka, Nia, Carmella, and Emma for example, not to mention up and comers like Liv Morgan and Deonna Purazzo. |

Summer Rae has always been underrated, her work in NXT was great, and on the few chances she's been given on the main roster she's proven herself.

I actually watched it. Thanks to recommendations from @eastcostkody on some really good recent matches on Superstars and Main Event. There was a Natayla/Alicia Fox match from last month that was also pretty good. These shows have always been a good place to catch solid women's matches since they're given a fair amount of time to do something. At the start of last year, Paige and Nikki Bella both had their best main roster match on Main Event. In recent months I've liked the two Nattie matches mentioned, a Paige/Naomi match, Becky vs. Sasha and there was a really, really good Becky/Brie match on Main Event. All worth a look.

Yeah a lot of people here missed Summer Rae being pure gold on NXT when her, Sasha and Charlotte were a team. She is solid in the ring and a really good bitch heel.

The match they had at the Raw taping in Nashville was pretty good. I think that may be the 2nd match listed as it took place on February 29.
