I've been a fan since 85...and this is the most amount of injuries over a year span that i ever remember.

Harper is my favorite Wyatt, and one of my favorites on the roster. Terrible news

That definitely sucks that Harper got injured. He is my favourite of the Wyatt Family. Maybe next year Vince will realize that after the Royal Rumble, you don't need to have so many live events and dark matches leading into Wrestlemania. Instead, keep the talent healthy so Wrestlemania will be amazing. Wrestlers aren't working a more demanding schedule this year than others, in terms of dates. The big problem is that because there isn't much to care about in terms of storylines and characters, the wrestlers try to overcompensate with "wheeee! Workrate! Move set! Star rating!" and wreck/tire themselves to the point of danger. The company, for several reasons, needs to start putting a focus on developing characters and less necessity on flips and overlong matches. FINALLY I read someone say this. A lot of people are blaming the schedule, but the schedule hasn't changed in the last few years. Heck, I doubt the schedule has changed at all since the brand split started. I agree it is a combination of the product focusing less on character and more on work rate. I read something about how it's the good wrestlers getting injured, and I agree there is a pattern of who's getting injured. Neville, great work rate. Harper, great work rate. Rollins, Cesaro, Kidd, Cena in the past year, great work rate, all injured. The writers HAVE to start focusing on building characters so that the wrestlers don't have to bust their ass more than they should on matches just to get over. Reason why guys like Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, etc., who aren't as great workers as the ones mentioned, are injured because they don't have the same work rate as the others. Anyways, I hope Harper recovers at 100% so he can come back healthy.

I make the same point last year (focusing my argument on those wrestlers working certain styles are getting injured because of Vince's affinity for certain looks), and I get criticized. You make this and get likes lol Glad people are seeing the light now and realizing that the direction of the product and lack of flexibility is resulting in wrestlers adopting crazier movesets to get noticed.

early 2000s were still worse because the majority of those injuries were severe neck injuries.
i might catch some flack, but it looks like i was right about harper just having a really unstable lower body. makes him throwing kicks and his style look great and roughshot, but his knees/ankles were bound to give.

And yet people will make fun of Kevin Nash for how he got injured. Nash is the man. But the quad jokes are funny. You can see my dilemma here.

You know what makes this the most irritating for me? it happened in a dark match, and I'm pretty sure it was Roman Reigns who hurt him. Not Directly, but Harper had Roman in the corner and Roman shoved him off and Harper looked like he landed really awkwardly when he went down. Just another freak accident honestly but I'm going to blame it on Roman because he sucks and this will make fuel my hatred of him.

Actually, second look. I think he literally got hurt just from punching Roman in the corner. It's weird. His leg just buckled as he was punching and honestly looks like a torn ACL or MCL to me. Don't expect to see him back for a while.

ing hell. Everyone's getting injured. Actually, second look. I think he literally got hurt just from punching Roman in the corner. It's weird. Reigns didn't make a move the whole time and was just taking the punches. This was nothing but a freak accident.

But man it actually looks incredibly painful. Almost makes me want to stop doing my INSANITY workout program. If a guy who is an athlete for a living can get hurt throwing a punch, I'm scared what could happen to me doing a high impact workout every day.
