Yes please and a Cole and a Baron and a JBL (suited obvs) and a JR, why not? Who ever thought Rene would get a figure in the basic main line before long standing commentators..

I've honestly never had trouble finding BAF parts and I live in the Midwest where distribution is hit or miss. I've found 3/4 of the Bearer figs already. Just gotta be patient.

Why is everyone against this? Not long ago the entire board was complaining about the difficulty of finding the BAF and yet when someone suggests a proper version being released your all against it. Before, Mattel (Bill) had stated that suited figures wouldn't sell and the ONLY way to get suited figures to us were in the BAF waves. Fast forward a few years and suited figures are being sold in basic series and battle packs... There are no excuses anymore.

I would buy a Bearer released in the basic, 2-pack, or elite line.

None of the Walmarts near me that I've been lucky enough to visit have had that series. My Walmarts typically are way behind and rarely get good stuff for the past 2 years. And they're so far away from me that it's a hassle to get to them. I live im the most hipster douchey city in the country and they refuse to let those types of places open here.
It would be fine if I could order them online, but I can't because Walmart's online distribution is worse than their crap stores. I've honestly had better luck toy shopping at KMart AND better luck shopping for KMart's exclusives thru their website.
Moving from TRU to Walmart was terrible, at least for me. Yeah, it took me 6 months to complete a BAF set, but at least I was able to eventually snag it on their website. Marvel has the right idea. Their BAFs aren't store exclusive. Yeah, it's still hard to get them, but at least you have a better chance.

I already have a Bearer so I would pass. But you are crazy if you think they are going to waste a huge chunk of the budget sculpting a new fatter torso for a figure that will probably never see another release after the 2-pack. Especially seeing he's been released twice. If they do anyhing they might give him the Brains torso with a new jacket if he is a HoF figure.

I will either wait until the end of the line for a cheaper Paul Bearer (than the $60+ BAF) or I will stay content with my giant Jakks version, which has a much better sculpt anyway. I would buy a 2-pack of the early 90s versions. I have no interest in a red-haired (or blond) Paul Bearer.

That figure would definitely make him shorter.

I always thought the Bearer rerelease should've been a RSC exclusive. Give him the urn, a shovel, and a tombstone. Would've sold.

Tell me about it, I dont understand some people on here. He should have been in a BP from the very beginning. Paul Heyman proved that. I never saw his BP warm and he already had a BAF and was sold with essentially the same old Brock. Most of the people against it probably don't buy BPs anyways. I'm picky about about BPs, but I would by a Paul Bearer pack. Finally, my damn Walmart won't get in the BAF wave. They keep stocking the "Then, now,..." wave. I've seen one figure here and there at other Walmarts, but there is no way I'm making special trips or calling Walmarts everyday looking for a Jericho.

I also want a red suited Bearer. The John L. Body is too tall to mod it.

Ive had enough of this BAF nonsense, I dont want 4 figures just to get the one I do want. Secondly its still a pain in the ass to get Paul Bearer despite being released twice! He is few and far between on the secondary market and prices are just too steep for a single figure and lastly, I still dont think its a very accurate figure, it needs to have a fatter torso and the face could be more pale. Hoopefully he gets a release somewhere down the line in an Undertaker two pack that a lot of fans on here have asked for. There is a demand for this, so Mattel should make it! Yeah i hear yeah, 13x4=$52 plus tax and its closer to $60. It would be very easy to make a elite 2 pack with bearer and taker, that would sell. A basic 2-pack with the both of them would sell as well. Thats mattel for you, nickel and dime collectors whenever they can get away with it. Maybe people should just buy a used jakks paul bearer instead, they made a bunch of figures in different attires.

I've got the BAF and have no problem with the concept of BAF series'. What i do have a problem with is making half the set the equivalent of re-releases. That Taker and Rusev in this set was a joke. The next BAF set for Mean Gene looks pretty good to me. Mostly good repaints and attires that re useful and not a straight up figure i already bought before. In the case of Bearer, I'd like to see him get a BP wth early Kane. A good 97-98 lighter hair color and suit would be awesome.

He's looked the same from 1990 up until his death. We already have 2 Bearer figures, and they're pretty much exactly the same. If they released another one, it would be a rerelease of the BAF. Another DDP would be great, because we NEED a non-smiling WCW DDP, and a short hair WWE DDP. DDP had multiple looks over many years, while Bearer remained largely the same.

I've yet to see this series period. I honestly don't mind having to buy 4 figures for one. Remember Mattel is running a business and this method works. Marvel and DC both implement such strategies. My only gripe is I haven't seen it yet. I live in high scalper area. I went to Walmart recently and asked if they had them and the lady told me a guy came and bought the whole case. Also I think the figure looks fine.

The BAF concept is a cool one but getting stuck buying Rusev or another Cena sucks. At least Neville and Y2J were cool basics this time around.

Wrong, he has had a few slightly different looks. He wore red for a bit, wore all black and no tie with the Ministry, had in dyed hair for a bit. Not drastic, but not the same look from 90 to death.
