Oddly, that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. It always was, but at this point, they've driven away the casual fans. Ratings are pretty much stagnant, meaning, more than likely, it's a majority of the same people tuning in every week. I don't disagree that a fair portion of the audience probably isn't fully aware of NXT, though. That's because, whether people have realized it or not, they have alienated casual fans and tried to appeal too much to the hardcore fans. Roman's push is anything but appealing to the hardcore fans. |
