Man this has to be the best Shane to date. Much much better than that TTL one in the DX outfit haha.
Isn't this from the same series as Vince and Steph? I thought at one point there was supposed to be all the McMahons in one CS line but Linda had to friggin ruin it. Thanks Linda. I'm so glad karma got her with the old running for office thing lol

This figure was tough even to find at retail once released. Took me a while to track down. If I remember correctly Jakks rereleased him toward the end of the line in a ruthless aggression series (No Way Out) I think. If you want one loose check into the rerelease which may be a lot cheaper.

Without a doubt, it's a great figure of Shane (maybe even his best), but if Mattel were to release one tomorrow, the value of this Shane would drop considerably. I don't remember it being that big of a deal when it was released, though maybe that is due in part to it being one of many top-of-the-line figures in Series 17. Figures/sets like this are why collectors still love the CS line to this day. Just bought these two MOC CS figures, CS16 Vince McMahon and CS17 Shane McMahon, for $12 shipped on eBay.  Great deal for me, as I needed both for my loose CS collection and was interested in buying both eventually, so why not for $6 each? I had thought for a while now that I received mine as a Christmas gift in 2008, but I couldn't have been more wrong lol. Looking back now, I would probably spend triple that if I had to, though I'm glad I got mine when I did.    |
