Anyone know what the toys r us shipping is like? I've heard some bad things about it but wanted to know if bad shipping was a regular occurrence

It is 50/50 when it comes to shipping. I have order stuff that came in good to great condition and others smashed. Recently got a Bossman elite that arrived not wrapped and the box was dented to hell. Luckily it is not for MOC. But I order the APA elites a week earlier with no damage and bubble wrapped protected.

It was either Toysrus or Amazon, and I'm pretty sure it was TRU, where I read a thread one time about how they would take basics and fold the card on basics to fit in an envelope. I remember seeing pics. I don't keep figures in the box, but I don't like the odds being increased on my figures getting smashed by putting them in an envelope. Put figures in boxes ya' creeps!

I believe they do ship single basics in envelopes. My debut cena elite was shipped in a box and it was mint when it arrived, though. I guess it depends on the size/thickness of the figure package.

I usually fare pretty well on elites. I trust them more than Amazon.

I'm currently on my 3rd try for the Defining Moments Flair to come in good condition. I've now complained twice, and returned back 2 DM Flairs already and they still send it in an envelope. It's pretty unreal. We'll see what happens when the third one comes in.
People on this forum say that if you order two figures, they will ship in a box. I don't know personally, cause I've never order 2 figures from them.

It's not good if you're an MOC collector. Twice I've had elites shipped in bubble mailers, most recently the flashback Triple H.

Recently I ordered 8 elites cause they were on sale & I had a lot of credit. I was expecting a huge box but instead I got this.  Yes 8 elites in 8 boxes in 4 different box sizes |

None of my purchases from there have come in bubble mailers. When I ordered Elite Series 39 British Bulldog and Godfather along with Defining Moments Ric Flair, they came in a box and they were all fine. However, when I ordered 2 Elite WrestleMania 32 Series Undertakers, they came in a box, but one was mint and the other one was damaged.

never had any messed up elites from TRU. most basic/bp cards i've gotten from them were in rough shape.
don't order just 1 figure. They will smush it into a tiny box. But if u order several figs where they have to use larger boxes ur fine.
