Darkhawk, TheLastDude, TurboEddie, John1234, hbkbigdaddycool, cmiller79, Manning Of Steel, marino13The thing with Undertaker for me is that he's had some horrific opponents too. Mark Henry, Giant Gonzalez, Bundy, Jimmy Snuka and Bray Wyatt were all so far below what Undertaker deserved. And as batcrapcrazy (read: entertaining) as Sid is, he's one of the worst workers ever. Triple H has really only been up against quality talent and huge stars.

Triple H has faced Warrior, Goldust, Owen Hart, Kane, The Rock, Mick Foley, Big Show, Undertaker, Chris Jericho, Booker T, Chris Benoit, Shawn Michaels, Batista, John Cena, Randy Orton, Sheamus, Brock Lesnar, Daniel Bryan, and Sting....
Huh... maybe Triple H has faced the best wrestlers in his Wrestlemania career. I never really put much thought into who he wrestled, but that is a top list of guys there.

I'd say the top 3 would be:
Triple H HBK Undertaker

I was thinking it couldn't be any other than Undertaker, but I think Triple H may genuinely have pipped him to it. He's faced a lot of the same high profile guys at Wrestlemania that Taker has e.g. Brock Lesnar, Shawn Michaels, Batista, Randy Orton, Big Show), but he's also faced The Rock, John Cena, Sting, Daniel Bryan, Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho.
The Rock's probably had the most 'mega matches' if you like though, with Stone Cold three times, John Cena twice and Hulk Hogan.

Triple H is a good answer. A few other impressive ones are... Randy Savage had Steamboat, Flair, Hogan, Warrior, & Rhodes. HBK had Triple H, Benoit, Angle, Taker, Flair, Cena, Y2J, & McMahon. But I think the winner would be Taker. Undertaker had Batista, Orton, HBK, Triple H, Flair, Edge, Punk, Lesnar, Roberts, Sid, Diesel, & Kane. HBK also had Austin, Hart, Diesel, and Razor

I was having a brain fart. For some reason I only included opponents from after his return.

HHH or Taker. It's hard to argue against either of them.

Scary that Triple H's list of opponents is clearly the strongest, given that he never was 'the guy'. If anything, it shows you what having pull backstage can get you.
Then again, the fact that he's entering the main event of Wrestlemania as the World Champion in the year in which he turns 47.. I guess makes it clear enough.

Hogan. Main eventing the first 7, big matches in 8 and 9, returning ten years later to steal the show back to back with Rock and Vince. His matches (aside from 8 and 9)are ALL iconic. Wrestlemania 3 is still the biggest match of all time. Hogan/Rock united generations like nothing else. He may have had fewer matches, but they were more important. Triple H's matches, main eventsn or not, didn't mean nearly as much.
Why not Taker? Snuka, Gonzales, Bundy, Diesel, A-Train and Big Show, Bossman, Mark Henry, and possibly Shane McMahon.
Michaels is the very close second for me, the only reason that Hogan edges him out is that he had maybe one or two more of the iconic matches. Shawn will always be Mr. Wrestlemania based on quality, but Hogan is still the godfather of Wrestlemania (although not the Godfather).

Great match too.

Undertaker might have had a few dud opponents but he also has multiple wins over Triple H, HBK, and Kane. Also: Big Show, Flair, Edge, Batista, Orton, Jake the Snake, Diesel, and Punk. Those are some all-timers.
