I was at the last game he started against Baltimore on Sept 25th, if he pitched like that against the Padres he’s not making it out of the first inning. |

That was the most incredible at bat I’ve ever seen a player have. Most AB’s it’s the pitcher attacking the hitter,…..Soto was STALKING that pitcher forcing him to throw the pitch he was waiting for. He was salivating during that at bat. Clearly not a man that feels pressure or runs away from the big moment.
Yanks need 4 more wins to end this curse.

Yeah, this is absolutely a curse. 14 years with not only no World Series titles, but not even any appearances until now. That was the second longest stretch in franchise history without a pennant. Since 2000, we’ve got 1 World Series win. That’s 1 in the last 24 years. Something has been horrifically wrong with the Yankees for the better part of almost 3 decades. We’ve been more known for playoff collapses than any type of success. 2001: Blew WS Game 7 2002: Lost ALDS to Angels 2003: Lost WS to Florida 2004: The Boston disaster 2005: Lost in ALDS to Angels 2006: Lost in ALDS to Detroit 2007: Lost in ALDS to Cleveland 2008: Didn’t make the Playoffs 2009: Finally won the World Series 2010: Lost ALCS to Texas 2011: Lost ALDS to Detroit 2012: Lost ALCS to Detroit 2013: Didn’t make the Playoffs 2014: Didn’t make the Playoffs 2015: Lost one game Playoff to Astros 2016: Didn’t make the Playoffs 2017: Got cheated in the ALCS by Astros 2018: Lost ALDS to Boston 2019: Probably got cheated again by Houston 2020: Lost ALDS to Tampa 2021: lost one game Playoff to Boston 2022: Massacred by Houston in ALCS 2023: Didn’t make the Playoffs I mean, what in the actual hell is that for a team that’s had one of the highest playroll in the biggest market with some of the best players on teams that did dominate the regular season a lot.
