Catching up on Monday Night Wars now that I have the Network back, and I'm near the end on the Kliq segment.
Main thing I want to note first is that I absolutely respect the hell out of HHH. I already did prior to watching this, but in listening to him talk about the business, it's clear that he loves it, and loves WWE. And I can never hate someone for having passion for what they do. Especially when it's something I love as well.
That said, HHH was pretty clearly the fifth wheel back in the day, when it came to the Kliq.
If I were to rank the members back then:
HBK Nash Hall X-Pac HHH
But how much difference a few years made? And the time since then? I would have to say they ended up being:
HHH HBK Nash Hall X-Pac
Not to take away from any of them. All 5 of these guys contributed so much to pro wrestling, but -- HHH went from being the one punished for the curtain call, to basically inheriting WWE at some point. That's a hell of a seismic shift, due to a couple decisions here and there.
So what do you think? Who ultimately has the biggest legacy?

I think you can argue that Hall and Nash had just as much impact
Them jumping ship started the monday night wars, and the nwo chaged the face of wrestling. Without the nwo, there is no DX, perhaps no Austin
I do agree that xpac is the bottom lol

I'm gonna go ahead and move this to the Classics board before someone tries to make some "rong bored" comment.

I rank them in the order they enter the Hall Of Fame.

I agree with your rankings Bob - with the passage of time it's clear how it all panned out for them.
Triple H continues to impress me with his dedication to all things WWE.

I rank them in the order they enter the Hall Of Fame. That's kinda harsh considering I doubt HHH enters himself for a long, long time similarly as to why Vince refuses to go in there.

Well hhh will probably leave the biggest legacy when its all said and done but that has to do with what he has done in the ring as well as the things he has done outside the ring like creating/booking nxt and the performance center plus he is gonna own wwe one day
I agree on the hhh 5th wheel thing as they already had "the kliq" before he ever came to wwe so that would have still been a thing no matter if he came to wwe or not

Nash got the belt first and obviously Shawn went back into the midcard until 96ish. Really until he left, Shawn was underneath Nash.
Then: Nash Shawn Hall 1-2-3 Kid HHH
Now: HHH Shawn Nash Hall X-Pac
Though really Shawn and Hall were kind of equals until Hall jumped ship, and the rankings now are only because HHH is still there and Shawn makes a ton of appearances. For overall impact on the wrestling business, the rankings are basically the same as the Then ones, just with HHH and Kid swapped.

Well, in the favorite Kilq member post I had them like this...
Triple H Hall Nash HBK
Waltman doesn't even get a spot on my list.
But for this thread I would go... Triple H HBK Hall Nash Waltman

As a wrestler I don't see how Shawn isn't gonna leave the biggest legacy

In 1995 I would have said...
Diesel HBK Razor 123 Kid HHH
But now, with what I know...
Triple H Kevin Nash Shawn Michaels Scott Hall Sean Waltman

As far as the hierarchy in the group is concerned, my guess is HBK/Nash were kind of the co-leaders with Scott and Hunter just right behind them, each with some pull within the group. Then there's Waltman, who just followed them around wherever they went and probably did whatever they told him to do.

i'll put my personal distaste for them aside for a minute.
triple h may easily have the most lasting legacy, considering the position he is in and how he's changing the whole industry with nxt.
michaels' ring work will be remembered the most out of all of them easily. and i think nwo will fade into oblivion in terms of the impact it has, because future fans won't really register how ground breaking it was. it will be like the how the fabulous freebirds are viewed now.

In ring HBK stands head and shoulders above the other Kliq members. His Wrestlemania legacy alone is enough to put the rest of the Kliq to shame: ladder match vs Razor, iron man match vs Bret, vs Austin, Flair's retirement match, his own retirement match vs Undertaker, vs Jericho, vs Angle, etc.
Outside of the ring, HHH really is the king by virtue of marrying Steph and inheriting the company. NXT is a good sign that he may actually know what he is doing behind the scenes.

If I really had to put thought into this, then I would seriously rank them this way: Triple H Shawn Michaels Kevin Nash Scott Hall X-Pac

You hear guys like DDP, Nash, & several others say how dedicated Triple H was to improving and to all things wrestling. From the moment he was signed to wCw he was still training and striving to be one of the best. He learned everything from camera angles, to lighting. He was a sponge. And now with NXT he's shown that all that knowledge he acquired was worth it.
I know many hate him, but when it's all said and done, Triple H is going to leave a legacy behind that no one can dispute.
