Meh im a big a fan of Jericho as there is, outside of RVD he was my favorite for so many years. But I feel like his credibility is all but gone. When you have him lose PPV matches over the past few years to guys like Evan Bourne, Ryback, Fandango, Swagger, Strowman etc... who they have proceeded to do absolutely nothing with, it doesn't give guys like AJ Styles and Kevin Owens any kind of rub when they get a win over him now. It used to be ok when he still put on pretty good matches but I haven't seen a Jericho match I havent seen before in a while. I agree with punksnotdead above, he's not really helping the product in my eyes at the moment. And his commentary during matches is the same stuff he's been doing since 2008. Its outdated imo

Interesting. I think Jericho is a waste of time and energy at this point. He comes off as desperately trying to be cool and funny and hasn't been for a VERY long time. Not to mention, he's become slow and neutered in the ring. But to each his own. I don't feel like Chris Jericho takes wrestling seriously anymore. He seems to use it more like the Rock does nowadays and that's as a vehicle to remind wrestling fans of all of the other sh*t that he's out doing in the world. Difference between Rock and Jericho though is that Fozzy sucks. He's slowed down a bit and his gimmick isn't as lazer focused as it was in 2008-2012, but I couldn't disagree on your last point. The amount of thought put into his match with AJ at 'Mania (which I thought was great) combined with the fact that he works every house show, shows that he's not taking wrestling as a side job.

I get more of a laugh out of whatever Kevin Owens is doing to be honest, especially when KO talks during his matches. I will admit Jericho has been more entertaining since during heel, tonight was good with Ambrose.

Heel Jericho is absolutely gold. I hope he sticks around for another few months. Looking forward to his feud with Ambrose.

Jericho is a genius.
Ambrose is an idiot. I know he's the IWC darling but his cutsie mic work is cringe-wrothy. The way he over-emphasizes his ugly ass lips for everything jars me out of my suspension of disbelief.
I hope Jericho schools him on the mic in this feud. Jericho usually puts new guys over, but Ambrose has a history of losing at PPVs - I hope this trend continues.

I love it when he says 'do you understand what I'm saying to you right now'.

His material can seem old because he is old. Everything he does is for a reason and it makes me laugh at times, and cringe at others. But same goes for New Day, Ambrose, R-Truth/Gold Dust, Cena, and pretty much everyone else that tries to be funny most of the time. Y2J has come back with something of a blend of his other heel runs and added more arrogance. It has been entertaining and that is all one can ask for. His matches are still decent and better than most on the roster right now. He wants to put guys over so let him. As far as him doing that has lost it's meaning, that is only to those of us who have been around since he started. It's nice to see a guy willing to put lots of kids over.

Absolutely fantastic segment on Raw. Can't wait to see what him and Ambrose put together. Two amazing guys. I'm really enjoying a lot of the WWE at the minute.
