It seems Mattel is reinvested in the idea of giving us more "extra" characters with their classic/legends/FB style figures, people like managers, announcers, etc. This year alone will bring us 4 of them ( Paul Bearer, Jimmy Hart, Bobby Heenan, and Gene Okerlund) after going a few years without any. Certainly hope this trend continues with several a year, so got to thinking - who would you want to see as the next few figures released? Went with the "classic" type of characters, rather than more current ones. and Paul E counts - I'm thinking the "Psycho Yuppie" from the early 90's. that sounds good...till u realize Paul Bearer was supposed to come out 2 years ago.....and Jimmy Hart and Heenan were cancelled BAFs that were supposed to come out last year that all got moved to HOF set

Announcer Jesse Ventura is high on my want list, followed very closely by Monsoon. Then I'd have Mr. Fuji in the suit. Although it will never happen, and he really has nobody to go with besides maybe Funk I want no manager more than Gary Hart.

Of those choices my top want would be Tony Schiavone.
2nd choice would be Eric Bischoff.

I voted for Corny, Sherri, and Gorilla. Doubt we'll get a Cornette, though. There is one coming out in the ftc line, but I have no idea when. I'm just hoping the head won't be too big and it'll be good for a Mattel custom.
Unrelated, does anyone remember which figures were in the Mean Gene baf set? I know a red X Pac is one of them but I can't think of the other 3. Also, was there a second baf or was Gene the only one?

Gene was the only one, unless you include the Bearer set, which did come out in the US this year. Got a question about my choices... I tried to do it with 2 criteria: 1) Keeping mainly with WWF people. We have yet to see a BAF of someone outside of WWF/WWE, or at least outside the looks of people specifically from when they came to WWE. Only someone like Bischoff or Paul E. I think would be considered big or important enough by WWE to have a non-WWF/WWE version of them made as a manager or announcer. Schiavone could go either way, as he spent a year in the WWF in 1989-1990. I'd LOVE a Steve "Mongo" McMichael figure for a Nitro setup,Paul Ellering, "Peanuthead" Teddy Long, or J.J. Dillon, but I doubt that would ever happen. 2) Who they realistically would make. Left off the list are such notables as Oscar (M.O.M) , Ted DiBiase (Million Dollar Corporation), Johnny Polo, Uncle Zebekiah, Sir Oliver Humperdink, Hillbilly Jim (The Godwinns), etc. Can't see them ever being made. Also, Sunny and Sable. Both should be top of the listers, but due to her recent issues I can't ever see Sunny getting one, at least not anytime soon. And Sable...well,there must be something there considering her husband works for Vince, yet nothing about her for years now. And,for obvious reasons, Chyna is excluded. ....also, I forgot 2 important people to add to the list : Brother Love and Howard Finkel!!

Mean Gene is the next one after Paul Bearer, I don't think there are any others as of yet? The line-up was X-Pac, a long-haired Triple H, Cesaro and Rollins in white As for the next non-wrestling personnel I'd like to see, all the names in the poll are before my time, but I'd like a suited JBL I would like Michael Cole too as he was before I collected but I appreciate he's already been done

I went with Ventura, Monsoon, and Bischoff. I'd really love to see a mid 90's Jim Cornette but I feel like that's not likely any time soon.

Going with Jim Cornette, Slick & VAliant. As these are 3 that we don't really have a figure of if you count Jakks & mattel and all would be great.
