Eric was literally interrupted by everyone from Lex Luger to Hulk Hogan, by the time Eric was finished with the announcement the ring was filled up with possible contenders. This included, Junkyard Dog, Iron Shiek, Bruno Sammartino, Ultimate Warrior and Sting. Sting took the microphone away from Eric stating he would become a full time WCW competitor if Eric Bischoff would allow him to be the special enforcer for the championship match! Eric Bischoff agreed but if Sting interfered at all or allowed interference there would be repercussions. Eric then turned his attention to everyone who wanted to face the champion he announced at SuperBrawl a 30 man battle royal would be held to decide the new number one contender! Hulk Hogan and DDP didn't seem to have an issue with it, however, Barry and Ric Flair began arguing with Eric Bischoff so for their actions he made Barry the first entrant! Ric Flair then lashed out and he made Ric Flair the second entrant!
Later in the evening, Scott Steiner interfered with Bret Hart's match when Eric Bischoff brought security to the ring. Eric headed backstage to his office where he was greeted by Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. The two told Eric neither of them had anything to do with Goldberg's loss at Mania. However, Goldberg couldn't just go through the entire WWE locker rooms taking out anyone and everyone. Eric agreed, expect Eric stated since Triple H decided to handle the situation in such a physical manner the two could finish what was started a couple of weeks ago at Super Brawl. Triple H refused the match unless the stipulation was put in place that if Goldberg lost he could never step in a WWE or NXT ring ever again! Eric agreed and shook hands with Triple H.
Second Segment, Hemme interviewed Randy Savage with Ms. Elizabeth, Razor Ramon about his upcoming United States Championship match at Super Brawl. Randy rambled on about how it didn't matter who it was or where the match was taking place, The Macho Man would come out the victor! Hemme then asked about Curt's recent win in the tournament but Randy just stared at her in silence before leaving with Ms. Elizabeth. During the handicap match, Randy Savage tried to use the US Championship in the match when Curt Hennig came from the audience and stopped him allowing Roddy Piper to roll up Lex Luger for the win.
Third Segment, The Four Horsemen, DDP, Hulk Hogan, Sting got into a heated altercation which led to Barry challenging them to a match. Although neither Tully or Ric seemed happy about Barry's decision to call out those three for a match! Later in the evening, the match seemed to be in Hulk Hogan and his partners favor until a brawl broke outside the ring with DDP, Ric Flair, Sting, Barry. This distracted Hulk Hogan allowing Tully to roll him up to get the victory. Tully rolled out of the ring and regrouped with the Horsemen. A furious and frustrated Hulk leaned against the ropes as DDP came in asking him what happened! in the heat of the moment Hulk Hogan shoved DDP and he retaliated with right hands. Sting then came in the ring separating the two! DDP waved both of them off and left the ringside area leaving a disappointed Hogan and Sting standing in the center of the ring as the show came to a close!

There is an air of uncertainty about Nitro this week, but I think that means great things lie ahead. Who walks out of SuperBrawl as WCW Heavyweight Champion? What becomes of Goldberg and the mystery man who attacked him at WrestleMania? With all of the chaos surrounding the latest show, it's a miracle if anyone can find the time to catch their breath for a minute. I'm eager to see where Steiner/Hart ends up, as well as Randy Savage's U.S. title reign. I sure hope Sting can keep everyone in line, because I want there to be a clear winner, but also because I don't want to see him get punished.

The Rock told Eric if the people wanted to see him, each one of their candy asses could pay to see him! Out no no where Shawn Micheals came rushing down to the ring handing out Super Kicks to everyone including Triple H and Stephanie McMahon! Shawn Michael's took a microphone and explained to the WCW audience that it was the Authority who attacked Goldberg at Wrestle Mania! The WWE now under Stephanie McMahon's full control wanted to double the size of the WWE roster. With this idea in place, Stephanie McMahon orchestrated a plan to remove the competition underneath the WWE umbrella and bring the up and coming talent to the WWE. Stephanie McMahon didn't include her husband's promotion NXT and stated her husbands company would be the new development center for incoming superstars outside of the WWE umbrella! Stephanie secretly met with the recent WWE superstars who were sent to WCW by her father Mr. McMahon. Stephanie promised each one of them not only a return to the WWE but a chance to put WCW under for good. The Rock, Shawn Micheals, and Billy Gunn agreed. Steve Austin however refused at first, considering how the powers at be treated him during his time with WWE. Shawn Micheals was the one who revealed the plan to the wrestling audience when he tuned on Goldberg and outed himself as the person who screwed Goldberg at Wrestle Mania to keep the WWE championship in its rightful place. The Rock and Billy Gunn would later interfere helping HBK take down the Goldberg, Sting, Hogan. Steve Austin seemed to be conflicted and after several weeks, Stephanie finally convinced him to join the team! Steve Austin turned on Hulk Hogan after a tag team match and beat the champion down in the center of the ring with a steel chair. Stephanie wanted a four on three match at the next big WWE event to determine the fate of World Championship Wrestling!
Meanwhile, Eric Bischoff was battling what seemed to be a losing war on the management side. Stephanie seemed to have convinced some of the WCW board if they helped with its demise, all of them could have promising futures in the WWE. Eric Bischoff finally gave up on convincing them he then assembled a team to take on the WWE superstars. Sting, Hulk Hogan, Goldberg, DDP versus The Rock, Billy Gunn, Steve Austin, HBK. Week after week each faction waged war on one another until WCW "Souled Out" where Steve Austin one a number one contender's match to compete against Hulk Hogan for the title. Stephanie promised Austin if he could bring the WCW title to her, she would award him his long lost smoking skull belt her father took from him many years ago. Steve Austin agreed and the two went head to head at Souled out in the main event. Steve Austin did everything he could to steal away the WCW title but after it was all said and done Hulk Hogan remained the WCW champion after leg dropping Steve Austin. Stephanie was very unhappy with the outcome and upped the stakes on their four on four match. Stephanie promised she would not only keep WCW in the network but would give Eric Bischoff full control of the company, but if Team WCW loses, WCW will go out of business and the top younger stars will be given an opportunity to come to WWE.
On 6/12/2016, WWE Surviver Series Team WCW will go head to head with Team WWE in a four on four match, if Team WWE wins WCW closes it's doors! If Team WCW wins, Eric Bischoff will gain full control of WCW!
Team WCW Sting, Hulk Hogan, DDP, Goldberg Versus Team WWE The Rock, Billy Gunn, Steve Austin, HBK.

The two ignored the referee's 10 count and both were counted out. The match came down to the Rock and Goldberg! The two battled it out with the fate of WCW of the line! Goldberg went for a spear but just as he was about to connect the Rock tossed the referee in between him and Goldberg! Goldberg connected with the spear on the referee! This allowed The Rock to get the upper hand as he low blowed Goldberg before grabbing steel chair from ringside! Meanwhile, Steve Austin had yet to leave the ringside area. Steve Austin demanded Stephanie McMahon give him the smoking skull title.
Stephanie refused stating he didn't deserve it because he was eliminated by being careless. This didn't set well with the rattle snake, he then turned his attention back to the ring as the Rock connected with a Rock bottom. The Rock was about to pin Goldberg for what seemed like the victory when Austin rushed the ring and stunned the Rock! Austin rolled Goldberg over on The Rock as he rolled out of the ring he pushed the referee over to make the count. The referee counted to three as Stephanie looked on in horror! Steve Austin smiled while Stephanie fell to her knees screaming NO!
Eric Bischoff made his way to the ring while Goldberg celebrated. Steve Austin turned to see Eric Bischoff and he stepped face to face with him. Eric then unexpectedly held out his hand to Austin! Steve Austin paused for a moment looking down at his hand before shaking hands with him! Steve Austin told Eric, "I'll see you Monday" as he walked away. The show closed with Eric shaking hands with Goldberg as Stephanie McMahon sat on the ramp way with her head in her hands.

The two were separated by officials, the next evening, Star Dust was in the middle of a interview and Damien Sandow interjected himself once again expect this time he had some very harsh words for his former tag team partner! Damien told Star Dust (calling him by his real name) Cody he needed to wake up and realize his career was floundering. This angered Star Dust leading to him challenging Damien Sandow to a match on WCW Monday Nitro. The match was a very back and forth bout until Sandow caught Star Dust with his signature move and pinned him. However, Damien wasn't satisfied with just the win, he assaulted Star Dust and rubbed the face paint off of his face showing his face in camera telling him to "Wake Up Cody!" finally the officials intervened separating the two.
The beginning of the Swisskers! The tag team match between The Road Warriors and Kidd and Mr. Cesaro was incredible both teams never let up on one another from bell to bell. A black limo appeared in the parking lot mid way through the show and the announcers speculated through out the evening who it was.
Bret Hart Vs The World Bret Hart made his long awaited return to a WCW ring after the WCW championship battle royal where he was the 30th entry. Seemingly embarrassed by the fans reaction [the fans chanted "You Lost Bret" ] during his pre match interview the fans kept interrupting him with a rude chant. Finally after the fans began chanting "We Want Sting" Bret spiked the microphone and climbed out of the ring and left the ringside area! Ric chased him down in the hall way and tried to get him to return to the ring but Bret told Ric he was finished because the fans didn't appreciate his in ring abilities. Bret Hart grabbed his stuff and left the arena and without an opponent for Paul Orndroff he had no choice to reward the match to him.
Contract Maddness! Jim Ross climbed in the ring and announced "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair's WCW President arrival to the ring. Ric came out to the ring and talked about his match in the main event before turning his attention to another issue. Ric Flair addressed the Randy Savage situation telling the WCW audience Randy Savage's contract had expired and he is refusing to resign. Ric Flair stated he has called Randy Savage here tonight to renegotiate the contract. About that time "Macho Man" Randy Savage came out to the ring with Ms. Elizabeth and climbed in the ring. Macho Man had no patience and interrupted Ric Flair telling him to get to the point. Ric Flair laid out the contract benefits also mentioning he had a opportunity to qualify for the top ten rankings. Randy Savage slapped the microphone out of Flairs hand telling him he wasn't interested in anything WCW had to offer.
Randy turned to leave but Ric stopped him spinning back around! The two stepped face to face before officials came down separating the two. "Macho Man" Randy Savage picked up his microphone as he was being escorted out of the ring. Randy began ranting and raving about WCW until Flair had his microphone cut. Flair called for a commercial break as security escorted Randy Savage and Ms. Elizabeth out of the building.
A Roode Awakening! WCW fans were shocked to see one of the greatest independent wrestlers to ever step foot in the ring to grace a WCW ring! Bobby Roode came out to an amazing reaction! The match between him and Hennig was a non stop battle from bell to bell. Bobby Roode was able to catch Curt off guard with his signature move to get the victory. Bobby then helped up Curt after the bell shaking hands with him. Curt picked up the US title as he left the ring. Bobby pointed to the title signaling he wanted a opportunity. Curt nodded as he left the ringside area!
