I wouldn't mind seeing a picture of that Sting standing next to Lex and Road Warrior Hawk (NWA no shoulder pads) Here you go. Although all my L1 Hawk figures all have different arms than the original. I went with my favorite of them which is the DM Steamboat arms that the have been using on Elite Dolph and Cody figures. I actually like how the torso looks, looks just about right, which is good now i want to see the ToyBiz NWA belt on him

I found him today with the laces and passed, but I'm determined to grab him with the new boots. Figure looks much better in person.

Like I said I took the TB WCW Sting belt out and put it someplace safe last week in preparation for this figure and now that it is here I don't remember where I put it. lol As As for the old school NWA title Sting never held that one. No excuses for it. I agreed with you about the messing up the back of the box, but seeing I am a loose collector I really don't care about the misinformation as I toss the boxes. And the one I keep MIB I will never read the back of the box. But that said you are correct and there shouldn't be any typos. Whoever is in charge of the write-ups needs to do a better job. Are the proper Sting boots the same as the Billy Gunn basic? Just picked up Sting today with the laces, couldn't resist the urge. In MD now so I don't have them in front of me, but Sting uses Slater's Boots. I don't think the are the same. I may be mistaken, but if my memory serves me the elite Gunn had straps on the side of his.

Hmmm... I don't like it. Hate the body choice and it makes the legs look silly with them been skinny and the body been huge. The plastic jackets rubbish aswell.
....ehh i wanted to like it....

Great pics, PJ, but that torso still looks so, so awful for Sting. It looks slightly better when he has the WCW Title around his waist to distract the ridiculous proportions that Mattel gave him, though.

One thing about the parts used, just a thought...
perhaps it's NOT Mattel's fault.
I remember when we got pics of the first Kevin Owens figure, and most of us - rightfully so - complained about how skinny he was. And we were told that the particular superstar, and/or WWE themselves have to approve it before it goes into production. In Owens case, it was WWE themselves who wanted the skinnier torso mold. Isn't it possible that Sting or WWE decided that they wanted these particular proportions on the DM figure then? Perhaps Mattel wanted something more in proportion, but they were told he had to be 'roided out?
Just something to think about.

It just doesnt make sense that e14 and Rocky M and older figures can have soft torsos and all others have to be ripped and huge. It looks absurb next to Crow Sting and E39. The belt helps hide some of it though.

Even if Bill says he was, I refuse to believe that he was the hands-on designer of that Franken-Sting figure. He was probably too busy designing the kick-ass E41 set and handed it off to another member of his team. Maybe the thought, it's Sting, how can they mess up Sting? Well, now he knows

Updated with today's Target purchases and receiving. Your thread title is a bit underwhelming You can use "Today's Demonic purchases were on Target" or some form of that.

You got some great pickups/receivings. I saw Balor at my walmart but passed and its good to hear their hitting at Target. It's really cool to see you get your dream fig made. I really like the style of your pics and the action pics are great.
