Who, in each sport that you follow, had the best fantasy season that you remember? Also, we can discuss memorable fantasy performances.
NFL: Steve Young 1998. A friend of mine won the Superbowl of our league in 1998 because of the amazing season Young had. His team was fairly pathetic otherwise.
MLB: Baseball is hard for me to say, but for the moment, I will say 1999 Pedro Martinez. As much as I hate the guy, he was amazing.
NBA: 99/00 Jason Kidd. I was in a league that awared bonus points for triple doubles. And his ability that season to perform in thebig 3 categories was amazing.

Probably last year... I finished top 3 in damn near every league I played in...
I usually get production from guys who are steals.

I remember in my Fantasy Football league I picked up Kurt Warner the first year he played with the Rams. You know, the year he replaced Trent Green and they won the Superbowl. I rode his points to the league championship, where I lost because he had his worst game of the season.

Gotta be last year, I had Shaun Alexander and Donovan McNabb ripping it up and the rest of my team didn't let me down either.

Probably last season in my friend's Dad's NFL league. It's a big, 16 team league with a bunch of 40-50 year old men, and me and my friends. LoL.
When we were drafting, we ended up getting Shaun Alexander and a bunch of good players, but ZERO Wide receivers. In the initial draft, we ended up drafting Antonio Gates on a pure gut shot and it ended up being huge. We also got Jason Witten mid-season. Two of our three receivers were tight ends for most of the season, but they were the most productive receiving crew in the league (we also had Javon Walker). We won the season championship and came in 3rd in the playoffs. Ended up winning huge.

OK, I guess I didn't make the topic clear. I was looking for performances by individual players in a season, that you would consider one of the best fantasy sports seasons of all-time.

Well, Peyton Manning last season was pretty unreal... He basically single-handedly won the second place trophy for the guy in my league. In addition to that, I would have to probably say that the years of the Rams' superbowl wins, Marshall Faulk was pretty damn huge in fantasy.

yeah, the year Faulk had 2,400 yards from scrimmage wouldve been my 2nd place vote. that, or when Holmes had 27 rushing TD's

Unfortunately for both Priest and Marshall, their "potentially record breaking" careers will both be cut short due to their inability to recreate their results over a long period of time. The only current football player, in my opinion, who has a chance at the rushing record books in any career statistic is LaDainian Tomlinson. Sorry to go off track, but yeah. ---------------------- If Vick can put the ball into his WR's hands this season, I think that he will be a pretty scary fantasy threat as well.

Torry Holt in 2003. Torry was coming off a disapointing season of 4 touchdowns, and I was between picking him or Joe Horn, who all the magazines liked better. But I went with Holt, and hot damn did his 1696 yards and 12 TD's help me.

Other then Peyton Manning, Culpepper was one of the biggest producers for me. I got him with the 20th overall pick too!

I'd say Manning last year, because not only did he throw for a lot of touchdowns, but the touchdowns he threw were all pretty long ones, too (I played in a league where you get more points for how long the pass is).
My dad and I's team had Favre, Harrison, and Stokley. The game where the Colts played the Packers was unreal point scoring.

Most of Manning's touchdowns were like 6 yards.
