These would look good for someone who is a basic collector. Especially when it's Halloween.

Ugh. What a waste. Also, I can't help but notice that they all have NEW arm joints.

I wonder if those new elbows are gonna end up on all regular basics...seems like they'd be trickier to swap. I'm thinking it would be easier? and capable of more specific swaps? Though I am assuming it can turn at the elbow joint too, and it may not... the others aren't another series, right?

If they were elites with accessories I think they'd sell.

I haven't bought a figure in at least a year and these have piqued my interest. These are clearly offensive to elite collectors lol. I think once a few series are released, people will come around.

These are Big Lots exclusives....well they will be once they collect all the dust at retail shelves and get packed up to be liquidated.

These awful unreleased jakks monster figures say hi Kane is weird, but I like the rest. They would have made nice Halloween decorations. As for the zombies, I'm still not sure about getting though, though the idea of putting them out for Halloween does tempt me. Shame the Hogan can't happen, that one would have been a no brainer (pun fully intended).

Ugh. What a waste. Also, I can't help but notice that they all have NEW arm joints. A waste of what? Time? Money? Effort? It's not like because Mattel is making these figures that they won't make any of the other figures you want. They make Barbie, superheroes, He-Man, Ghostbusters, etc. They make tons of different toys. If you don't want them, don't buy them. Not everything is for you - a lot of people on this website seem to get confused about that.

The question I have is, can that elbow swivel as well as the traditional bend? If so, I wouldn't mind if they started using those a bit more.

I like that Mattel is taking chances and trying to appeal to different types of collectors with this line and the Create A Superstar line, but I hope it doesn't affect the quality, creativity, and resources put into their staple WWE lines (basics and Elites) if they don't do well. I'm not the demographic for this product but I'm sure fans of this genre will appreciate and support the line.

I'm not the demographic for this product but I'm sure fans of this genre will appreciate and support the line. Fortunately that's not how it works. When they make a yearly budget they have set dollars associated with set products. They will not take money away from a top product to fund something else, even if it's 100% a sure thing. This likely came from a discontinued line like those twist and smash figures (can't remember the names) that use some of the existing molds for parts to deflect costs. Zombies are a hot property right now (thanks TWD) so, while I'm not as excited for them myself, I hope it's successful for them.

Oh these are going to be popular... Why not just randomly add these to lines as variants rather than an entire separate series?

They're gonna end up shelfwarming hard, and Mattel will have wasted their time, money and effort making these.

The question I have is, can that elbow swivel as well as the traditional bend? If so, I wouldn't mind if they started using those a bit more. These appear to be the swivel and pivot joints. Looks like they still have the bicep cut too. One strong advantage if this style of joint is that we will be able to bring the hands together since the bicep can be turned back to facing forward again. The big biceps on, say, John Cena would prohibit movement.
