I often wonder how Bret would be had the screwjob not happen. Possibly 5/10? Such a simple joke, yet I legit laughed at the '5/10' remark. As for what Bret said, he is not wrong on some points, and on other points he is totally wrong. I just think Bret is always gonna have some sort of hostility with Triple H because Bret wanted to be the original Triple H.... Hret "Hitman" Hart. But they changed it to "Bret" and he was mad about that.

There was some good wrestling at WrestleMania: Chris Jericho vs. AJ Styles, and the Women's Triple Threat were both pretty great matches. But I do understand where he's coming from with the card placements and whatnot. Of course, if WWE had a full roster this year, there would have been a lot more guys on the card who are deserving, but many of them were injured as we all know. WWE is a business and they're here to ultimately make money. Yes, they can make money using many of the deserving guys who work the whole year, but WWE is naive to only see the tried (and not necessarily true) method of presenting the big names on the WrestleMania show because they'll know the merch will sell moderately well.

I have to discount a percentage of anything Bret says about Triple H because it's clear he hates him as much as he ever has. He forgave Shawn... But I don't think he'll ever change his views on Triple H.

I can agree with so,e of what he said but as other have said it's probably better directed at Vince.

"Hhh doesn't know how to put on a wrestling show"
"NXT is the best wrestling show"
He does know HHH runs NXT right?

What he said about HHH pushing guys with big muscular bodies is completely unfounded.
Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Nakamura, Enzo Amore, Samoa Joe, Bray Wyatt, Adrian Neville are all HHH guys and none of them are John Cena types. They're also all (with the exception of Amore) world class wrestlers.
Then, look at his recent signings, Austin Aries, AJ Styles, Eric Young, Hideo etc are all smaller guys who are dynamite in the ring.
His comments about HHH not being interested in great wrestling is absurd as well. Look at the current set of champions on HHH's show - Joe, AA & Asuka.
AA are like Haas & Benjamin when it comes to in-ring prowess and are brilliant technical wrestlers. Joe is the same (although I personally find him extremely boring) and Asuka is a wrestler's wrestler. Go down the list of all NXT Champions and you'll see the same thing (with the exception of, perhaps, Big E and Bo Dallas). Just look at what he's done for women's wrestling in WWE!
I'm sorry, but he's just bitter and not making any sense.
He can't even say it about Vince at the minute with the current Main Event scene featuring so many great young wrestlers.
Old man Bret, whinging again.

"Triple H thinks Hulk Hogan was the greatest wrestler in the world"..?
I love Bret, but 99.9% of fans can easily correct him on that statement. Triple H admired Flair, Kowalski and Race. So stupid, so bitter.

Fed up of reading Brets ramblings. It's all he seems to do. It's hard to maintain love for such a legend of the sport when he never wastes an opportunity to dig at WWE, the very company that pay his royalty cheques.
In Wrestling folklore, he's up there with Muhammad Ali. In modern pop culture, he's Wrestlings Dustin Diamond. All his negative bitter ramblings are designed only to hinder the enjoyment of fans interested in his views, and as a fan who somewhat accepts changes in time honoured tradition, I ain't got time for his crap in 2016.
Not to mention, this particular rant is miles MILES wide of the mark. It's sad.

Does Bret Hart do anything other than whine and cry on the Internet these days?

This is sort of like NBA players from the 80s and 90s recently downplaying Steph Curry's magic on court feats of strength, saying he couldn't survive in their time and the Warriors are overrated.

He's right about the part timers making more money, but that's it.
He says NXT is great, but then bashes HHH...the guy who's running that show....? Makes no sense at all.
Like others said, if anything it should be directed at Vince. But even then, it's not really accurate currently. Owens, AJ, Zayn, Ambrose...all guys in the top spot who don't fit that mold. Reigns is the only obvious example of what he's referring to

I think Bret & his HHH hate is just to mess with Fan's.

Hahahahahhaha, Bret is completely wrong with most of this.
Couldn't have guessed he'd end up trying to insult Triple H at least 4 times.

I thought Wrestlemania was absolutely dreadful, in part because of the many of the things Bret stated. I certainly agree with him on those accounts.
I would, though, gladly take Triple H over 70 year old Vince McMahon any day of the week, though. We've seen where Triple H's vision sits, and while I certainly don't think he's capable of running the company the way Vince McMahon did in his prime, I can't imagine him not improving the current landscape.

I have to laugh at the fact that nearly everyone on this forum is CONSTANTLY saying EVERY SINGLE THING that Bret said.
But because it's Bret saying it, he's apparently wrong. Everyone here criticising him is a hypocrite. All because of some stupid "bret is bitter" bullcrap that some mark came up with.

He's dead on the money in regards to certain topics, and seemingly very misinformed on others.
It's funny how some people think his remarks come from a place of bitterness, the guy is just one of the most critical people i've ever seen. He has an opinion on everything. Now does he use his public stature as a platform? Of course, but this is just who he is. If you watched one of these shows with him, he would be telling you what he liked and didn't like the entire time.
People tend to ignore the things that he clearly enjoys and praises, because they're offended that he's harsh on the things he doesn't like. I understand that, honestly, but the guy has a right to say whatever he wants.
I think a lot of people take offense to the whole part timer thing, these guys eat good while everybody else sets the table. It sucks. I won't even elaborate, it's just wrong.
He needs to read up on just who's producing NXT in large though, HHH does deserve his credit. I get that he wasn't the finest scientific wrestler, and his workrate wasn't Dynamite Kid esque, but the guy is a great wrestler/producer in his own right.
