Here is the whole collection.
Now before I show close up pictures I will give you a little history. I have been a wrestling fan my whole life. As a kid there was nothing better than playing with my wrestling figures. I am now 32. So getting these LJN was pretty much a birthday or christmas gift. Once and awhile I would get surprise figures just for whatever. Now as most of you probably did when I kid you did things to your figures, that when you are older you never realized how not so much dumb you were but just how you never realized the condition of your figures would matter. I will show you all the figures I own. Some are every played condition from having red marker on them for blood or just in poor condition. Some will be in near mint or close to mint, and some are in the middle condition. Each picture I will give you a little caption of each picture. I really hope you all enjoy, it means the world to me that I have the full collection.
Hulk Hogan's. The top three are the played condition ones. The first one on the top row was my very very first wrestling figure ever. Yes there are screws in his knees. My older brother got mad at me for throwing King Kong Bundy and Capt Lou at him for whatever reason so he grab my Hogan and ripped off his knees. My grandpa then screwed the legs together because at that time parents couldn't find a Hogan. The other two were one to replace the first Hogan figure, then 3rd was a friends that gave me a bag. The bottom row was the more recent ones. The first was in pretty near mint and the other two are the rare black board series Hogans.
How could you have Hulk Hogan figures without having Andre the Giant. Top row are the ones I had has a kid. The bottom row are again recently bought figures. As you see I have the black board series Andre.
Here are the tag team sets. Now as a kid I didn't know that they had the tag sets. I did have the Tito Strike Force figure that was sold solo. I bought The Bulldogs, Bees, and Harts probably around 2000-02 when I saw them online. Had to own them. Then has I was recently trying to buy the more rare figures, I came across Strike Force and bought them.
Here are my Tito figures. I thought I would show the stages of Tito along with the played conditions of the figures I had as a kid vs. the figures I recently bought.
Here are my managers collection.
Here are my Macho Man collection along with Miss. Liz.
Here are the classic face of the LJN series. Top row are the more recent or ones I got from friends. The bottom row as you can clear see are the figures from when I was a kid.
Here are the classic heels of the 80's and LJN. When one of my closet friend gave me his LJN collection I was so happy he had the kilt.
Here are the Announcers/Ref collection. I know I don't have the blue shirt ref. I just couldn't find it for a good price.
More Heel of the 80's.
As I am posting more picture it makes me realize how many more heel figures they made than face back in the day. Haha.
Back are the face.
And here is the Sgt. Slaughter I guess Hasbro LJN figure. It is played condition. I don't know the whole story to this figure. I know from reading it was I believed released by GI Joe Hasbro but in LJN style. Hey I just love the I own it.
Here are more of those rare late blue board series figures. I had actually had Harley Race as a kid, Bam Bam and One Man Gang were given to me from friends, and Jake, Hacksaw, and Kamala were all bought recently.
Here are the Holy Grail of the LJN Series. The Black Series. Now I know I have shown some of these figures but I thought it would be nice to show the set as series. I also know some other figures were in the black board series but these are the figure in that series that were not releases from an earlier series.
I can't believe I forgot to add the pictures of the Ring and Cage which both of these we just recently bought. The ring I had has a kid. Played with it so much one day the ring cracked and my grandpa who was handy measure it out and made the mat part into wood. Awhile later some of the post broke and he made custom ring post. Long story short he turned a plastic ring into a wooden ring. The cage I will be honest I didn't even know LJN made a cage for the ring until I decided to finish up my LJN collection. Once I saw it, I knew I had to have it.
