Use a tripod, or some kind of camera mount, better lighting (use natural light if you don't have adequate lights), and take the jacket off the figure(using your example). I like comparisons, maybe bring in some old Jericho figures.

I think Grim can be entertaining at times but it gets emabrassing to play with the volume up because every other word is an expletive and I'm not someone who really gets offended by profanity. But it's a grown man talking about toys and its f'ing this and f'ing that and sometimes that's the whole joke. Sometimes you see people making videos that don't seem to have any sense of humor at all or they don't seem to even care about what they are "reviewing" and it's like what's the point? Like others said, the best advice is probably just be yourself, talk about what you are passionate about and don't get too long winded (like this post lol). If you are talking about your passion, you will find other like minded people. Good luck!
