Jakks' attempt was good, besides the awful neck piece that makes him look DOWN at all times
but i'm all for Mattel replicating the Jakks CS line, so whoever they wanna throw at me, i'll buy

I would've bought both a Brooklyn Brawler and Abe "Knuckleball" Schwartz.

You'll buy Miz or Bo Dallas but not a Brawler figure? I'd buy it since I need a jobber from that time for my collection!

I would've bought a Brawler.
That's crazy that they released him. That guy has been on their payroll FOREVER!

Should have been in the line, would have been fine with him as a basic. I'm sure he still has a legends deal. His Legends Deal was terminated from budget cuts.

Did he even qualify as middle card?

I would pass, even though I am a Hulkamania Era fan. I cant believe Jakks made a figure of him and they should be given props for doing so since Brawler seems to be popular around here.

Did he even qualify as middle card? Maybe when he first got the gimmick and was managed by Heenan feuding with Red Rooster he could've been considered a lower mid card talent. But the other 99% of his career he was a jobber. That being said, his name and likeness are probably more recognizable than a lot of the mid card of that era.

Nope. And honestly I don't know how his CS figure got into my collection. It was either purchased for the Hulk Hogan promotion or part of a Buy one get one free promotion or else there's no way that figure would have come home.
I'll PM you my address and you can send him to me.
I would have bought Steve as either a basic or an Elite honestly. Shame he got released, hasn't he been with the company longer than Vince now?
I honestly have no clue to where it is. I didn't even remember that I owned it. My reply was going to be "I passed on his LJN. I passed on his CS and would pass on a Mattel" but then I wasn't sure if they made and LJN so I googled "Brooklyn Brawler figure" and one of the first pics I saw was my pics of his CS figure. So I guess I do have it. lol it must be in a bin in a closet or in the attic.
