Just saw that WWE released Steve Lombardi. Was never high on my lists of wants but I would've definitely bought a Brooklyn Brawler figure if they made one. It seems like a missed opportunity for Mattel because even though a need for his figure isn't heavily discussed, I feel if he they did make a figure a lot of people would've bought him.

In a heart beat. I bought the Jakks version, so I would definitely get a Mattel.

Didn't care before he was released, don't care now that he is released.

Should have been in the line, would have been fine with him as a basic. I'm sure he still has a legends deal.

Nope. And honestly I don't know how his CS figure got into my collection. It was either purchased for the Hulk Hogan promotion or part of a Buy one get one free promotion or else there's no way that figure would have come home.

Lombardi & horowitz will always be my all time favourite jobbers (or so called enhancement talent).
What is not to like about them? They provide comic relief humour that is so so missing in the reality-like WWE programs now.
Go watch a few of their matches on youtube and you will understand it. Especially the one with Warrior vs Horowitz. Pretty hilarious.
And yes ... i will buy a Lombardi figure. In fact i am planning to build one.

I would love a "jobber" set. I know they would warm shelves but man it would be awesome to see some of those guys in the Mattel line. I was out bid for a Horowitz custom on eBay recently. It eventually sold for $81. So I guess there is a market for guys like that. Highly doubt we will ever see it though.

No, I'd buy just about any 80s era guy, but he's on the short list of guys I won't waste money on. I don't need any jobbers really.

Once upon a time I would have because I was buying at least one of every character released, but I don't do that anymore, and he wouldn't make the cut these days. I do like seeing guys like that get made though.

As a basic yeah. As an elite. Maybe. Kind of just for obscurity's sake though.

I liked him more when he was just Steve Lombardi. My favorite jobbers were...SD Jones, Barry Horowitz, Barry O, Rick "Quickdraw" McGraw and a very young Curt Hennig before going to the AWA.

I own an 80's purple trunk custom, the normal CS, Abe Schwartz, & a custom Yankees shirt Brawler - so yes I would have bought one :-)

I'll PM you my address and you can send him to me.
I would have bought Steve as either a basic or an Elite honestly. Shame he got released, hasn't he been with the company longer than Vince now?

Would've rather had him in his 2000s attire with the navy blue Yankees torn shirt and jeans.

He was probably close to being made as the original "boss bill" was a Brooklyn brawler fan apparently although I doubt he was an actual wrestling fan
With that said, I would have bought one if it looked good
