Just Franchise for me. I only play the MUT for online trophies once those are completed I stay away from online play. I have to say the "good on Paper" trophy is impossible this year. I don't know how many drafts I have completed, but I know I have hit an 82 rating maybe 5 times. Most are in the 80-81 range. But the one I just completed was pure crap! After he first round where I picked SS Malloy with a 91 rating the next 6 rounds nobody had a rating higher than 77 and most were DT or LE. And then the following rounds all had TE or the same positions as players I already drafted. My team's rating was a 78. WTF! The only trophies I still need that aren't Legacy ones that will pop as I continue in my franchise mode are "Good on Paper" and the Gauntlet one where you have to reach level 25. im pretty sure if you log in later in the year when they update draft champions with better cards it's easier to get that trophy late last year i think i was averaging 87 OVR with every draft |

Last three drafts I did today I had an 82 rating going into the final round and none of the three went over 82 with my last pics which were a 91 rated player the first time, a 90 rated player the second time and a 91 the third time. Grr!

Ok so I just lost my franchise. It saves last night when I finished the week 14 game, but this morning it was gone. There was no franchise to load. Very pissed right now.

So first off since when is sacking the Quarterback Roughing the Passer?! That is what they said I did on this play-
And I just deleted my franchise as it was week 8 and I had thrown 20 interceptions already. (4 a game since 4) Every time I threw the ball with under 2 minutes in the halves it was intercepted as well as every time I threw a pass within 5 yards of the end zone it was intercepted and returned for a pick 6. But I could live with that. What I couldn't deal with was the injuries. Reese played one play in the first game of the season and separated his shoulder. He was out for 7 games. He was cleared to play this last game and on the first play he separated it again. Then Mack (the player I use on defense) dislocated his elbow, Heeney separated his shoulder, Hayden broke his collarbone, Cooper separated his shoulder, Crabtree and Murray both tore their MCL's all in the first half.

Apparently the "this game is sh*t" disease carries well over into Franchise INTs dont surprise me, I cant tell you how many times I've thrown the ball to find a computer controlled cornerback or safety that's rated like 68 overall come flying across the field out of nowhere and get a perfect pick. Meanwhile the AI quarterback throws a ball directly to the hands of my 85 overall Malcom Butler and he drops the ball like it was shot out of a cannon. And forget about stamina....these guys get burned out after 2 plays....TWO PLAYS and my entire 85-overall offensive line is "tired" I've only done madden since '15 and it has gotten progressively biased towards the AI to the point of ridiculousness each year since then. |

if you ever question how broken this game is....watch this
That happened to me recently. I'm the patriots. My receiver literally disappeared into the time paradox so Pat Pete could get an interception. This was with me holding down Y to "aggressive catch"
thankfully it was only a simple solo challenge i could re-start and not a real important game

Oh the first touchdown I scored in this game was a rush by Murray where he vanished through the stadium wall behind the goalpost. lol
And interceptions everytime I throw deep to Andre Holmes I am picked off. I will push the aggressive catch button and he doesn't even make an attempt to catch it. I have an out route that I use but I would say maybe once out of every ten times I run it Amari Cooper will fall during his cut to the outside and the ball ends up in the safty or Cornerback's hands. Oh and tipped passes it seems everytime their DB's tip a pass the ball ends up in the hands of a LB or other DB 10-20 yards away from anyone else. I don't think any tipped pass I attempted as gone farther than 3 yards away from the spot I tipped it from.
Another thing that needs fixing is I will pass the ball as I get hit, but you see Carr was in the process of passing (arm going forward) and they call it a fumble. Yet same play happens to the computer team and it's an incomplete pass. Hell, half the times I do cause a fumble they say incomplete pass. But my biggest gripe is line play there are plenty of times I will get past the offensive lineman and Mack will just stop running.

But my biggest gripe is line play there are plenty of times I will get past the offensive lineman and Mack will just stop running. yes O-Line Freeze is a very common problem....EA said they put in a fix to stop people online from nano-blitzing. it's why when you take control of one of your DE's or DT's you can only strafe them along the line now, it is unbelievably annoying. forward pass fumbles are in abundance. this game has turned into a bunch of RNG-style animations at this point...like you press a button to throw a pass and the computer just decides what animation it wants to run instead of actually doing what it's supposed to do. all I know is that MUT15 gameplay was perfect. My offense worked, i didnt fumble or throw 47 picks with ease, there was no o-line freeze, my computer controlled secondary actually covered receivers. all the things they've done in MUT16/17 have decreased my enjoyment of actually playing the game. |

Finally I just got the "Good on Paper" trophy. I had an 82 going into the last round and the three pics were Tim Brown, Ray Nitschke, Champ Bailey so being a life long Raiders fan I had to go with Brown and I got it. That was the first time in about 100+ tries that I ever saw Brown as a choice. Glad I don't have to do the draft again this year.   |

Yeah I know he has only been in for a week or so, but I have gotten Singletary at least 20 times now as well as the other player that was released with Brown at least 10 times. But I was doing the draft about 6-10 times a day. Basically everytime I turned on Madden I started with a draft. Then between each Franchise game I would do another and then agan before I turned it off. And sometimes I would just leave the system on and just come back and do drafts every twenty minutes. (I did that all day on Monday) And I was doing that since day one so God only knows how many drafts I did. lol

so apparently today in ultimate team, EA put up a set that was "glitched" and was allowing people to put 5 of any level player card in it to receive an 87 or higher OVR elite card.
the idea was that it was supposed to be 5 elites, and not 5 of any card.
people went nuts, crashed the auction house market and now apparently the auction house is disabled for users, and of course the set is no longer active. it was up for about 30 minutes
gotta love "live" content games

OK I hadn't played Madden since late Nov early Dec, but yesterday I decided to cash in some of head Doritos codes before they expired and what did I see while looking at the Raiders cards in MUT auctions? Howie Long cards!!!! So I spent yesterday and today obtaining some. 1 elite and 2 gold so far. I have 2 elite and another gold to get still. So here is the new rule. In the future (Madden 18) if anyone sees Howie Long cards are in he game please inform me. lol
Now if there was only a way to use him, Rice, Brown and Allen in Franchise mode. In MUT I now have Derek Carr throwing the ball to Jerry Rice, Tim Brown and Amari Cooper. Handing it off to Marcus Allen. And my defense has Deon Sanders at CB, Brian Urlacher at MLB, Khalil Mack LOLB, Chris Long At RE, Howie Long at LE. I forget who I have at the DT's but both are over 86. I am pretty sure everyone on my starting Defense is over 84.

Two things...
I only play franchise how does this ultimate team work. I bought packs with my bonus codes that came with the game and only got sucky player. Do you have to play games to get money to buy guys? Ect.
I hate the running on this game. A giant hole will open up, I run through it about to bust a big run and my back does a freaking auto juke and gets tackled every single time. I freaking hate that.
