From his personal Twitter account @princecgr: "(1/2) The past ten years have been quite the trek, but as of earlier today I have asked for my release from wwe"
"(2/2) I'll speak further on the matter shortly. Thank you to all the pro-wrestling/sports entertainment fans worldwide. Thank you"

Well, I don't blame him tbh. Someone who once had an incredibly bright promising future is a glorified jobber now.

It's all a ruse and it's Stardust leaving not Cody.

That sucks. He was awesome as Stardust. One of my favorites right now.

Very underutilized talent. Shame, cause I thought he was the future the moment he inducted his dad into the HOF. He just has a natural charisma to him.

. . . One of my favourite wrestlers of the past 10 years. Extremely underrated. Extremely under-utilised. Extremely talented. Everything that they handed to him, he got it over and made it work. .

Goddammit. They've been sitting on a gold mine for years with him, but ing refused. Barrett leaving, Cody possibly, Sandow, I hope WWE truly realises how bad they ed up with them. As well as Morrison, Miz, McIntyre and Ziggler. Those guys should've been THE guys in the company 2012 onwards.

I don't blame him. WWE wasted his talent.

Black day, black day. I don't blame him. They took a future world champion who was over and booked him into oblivion. Start stop start stop start stop, only to make him a jobber as Stardust. No shock he lost his passion. I'm sure Dusty's passing help, nor did looking at Goldust's booking as his future. Whatever he does, I know he'll do well. He knocks everything out of the park. WWE's loss, and I'm pissed that it came to this.

I really thought he had something after the Grotesque run, and I loved him as Stardust. It sucks that they never ran with him, they really didn't even attempt to
