I always found Belgium to be incredibly overrated and they proved just that. Everybody makes them out to be amazing, their ranked FIFA no. 1 and yet they never deliver. I was rooting for Wales, screaming around like a little boy when they scored and I'm very happy they knocked out Belgium. Belgium is an amazing 23 men squad... with a terrible manager. Its the usual problem with belgian and dutch teams.

Last night was ing amazing. They nearly killed me. It was exactly the game I expected only 100 times more exciting. Crazy penalty shootout. Thank God we never ever lose when it comes to penalties.

Give it to Iceland, they didn't give up! Kudos to them!

Yeah I was gonna say, if we're going to call Belgium dark horses, might as well throw the likes of England and Portugal in there as well. I guess Portugal were the dark horses. Still confident in my original prediction that Germany will win though.

We did ourselves proud without a doubt. We were poor tonight, we missed Ramsey and for a nation of our size we just didn't have the quality to come in and replace him. Still disappointed in the way we played but whatever.
My feelings that Portugal are a cheating team full of scumbags still stands though, I knew it would happen and I'm gutted our players let it happen. Fair play to them though, they played the ref a treat. Hope they get annihilated in the final.

A largely populated nation like Portugal would always have more options. But oh well, you didnt see other small countries like Russia or England complain about that when they played Wales did you? Or tiny Poland when they played against us. Dont even get me started with Iceland and that 300k army to pick their players from. Shame on UEFA. Next time just let San Marino in so they can run us all over! Also, that Ronaldo dive inside the box on the first half was ridiculous. Collins was clearly below the waist. Wales should have got a 3 point lead right there. Also agree on the scumbag thing. Our players were savages! Speaking of Savages (not scumbags), if Robbie was still around im sure the game would have been much more peaceful. He was a gem that guy. On the annihilated thing, I trully hope it happens. Alter all, our last official defeat was almost 2 years ago so we have that beating coming anyway.

Nice to see a team I back from the start actually make it to a final, love this France team. Maybe a better manager and they'll probably win the World Cup in Russia.
Griezmann though <3

We absolutely deserved to lose last night. With this amount of stupidity there was just no way we were gonna defeat France. As a huge fan of Real Madrid and Cristiano Ronaldo I hope they manage to steal the title so CR7 will win another Ballon d'Or and Portugal finally wins a European title.

I can finally comment, been staying away while Wales were in the tournment because I didn't want to jinx anything. It was an unbelievable journey. I still can't believe it's the same team I've seen in the past lose to minows in less than half full stadiums. Unbelievable effort. Bale and Ramsey deserve all the credit given but Allen and Davies were also up there for me. And what can I say about Joe Ledley, thought he would miss the tourney and ends up being crucial to the success. What a ledge and those dancemoves, ha.
Shame it ended against Portugal. We just didn't look the same team. If Ramsey was playing I think we might have got through. Shouldn't have been a yellow card against Belgium. Oh well, that's in the past.
Hoping France win because they've played the better football and who doesn't want to see CR7 cry? He's an incredible footballer but after those tantrums he's had he deserves to win nothing.
Also for the first time, I wished there was a third place playoff.

Shame it ended against Portugal. We just didn't look the same team. And nobody cares to wonder why. Or why Croatia wasnt the same team on last 16. Or why Poland didnt do in the quarters what they did to germany in the group stage. Im the first to dislike Portugal style (i think playing our usual style would also take us to the final) but it makes no sense to not give us credit to set that midfield web that made some of the the best football shown in the tournament look insipid. And nobody wonders why Patrício has only a 2.6 saves per game average (apart from him being a poor Gk). Or why we are the team with most attempts per game. Even more than Germany after that miss fest against France. Maybe its cultural and we dont see football the same way. Even if its unlikely to happen, all this hate starts to make it more than fair we win the whole thing.

You constantly leap to the defence of your teams when nothing has even been said against them. I didn't say anything about Portugal. I just that it was a shame the Wales dream ended there because I would have liked to see it go on. It was Wales' fault they didn't go through, Portugal were the better team.

I have no problems at all. I just find it polite to give credit where credit is due. And nothing was said against the team? Ive read here people saying its a team of scumbags. And its a bore to watch. And that everyone likes to see its captain cry. I actually think you are one of the few here that knows how to watch football. Maybe the expectations were too high. Apologies for that.

You really don't get that people have opinions.
I got no problem with Portugal. They got some talent and know how to win. Sanchez especially looks a bright talent.
I'm not going to argue anymore, it's pointless.

I'm not going to argue anymore, it's pointless. Like i said, your opinion is probably the one i find more football wise here. So i do respect opinions. But calling a team scumbags or other stuff said here is hardly one. My intentions were not to argue. Specially with one of the few i think that can debate football here. Congratulations on Wales performance. The sensation of the tournament without a doubt.

You need to take a chill pill. Just be happy that you've got to the final. You're a good team as a unit and I'll certainly give you credit for that. Would I be proud about the way the team goes about its business? Not so much, but who cares if you win the whole thing? Good luck to you.
