That is awful. To send anything other than a letter in a standard envelope is bad. Was it from amazing or private seller? Shocking either way. The skin tone on that Sting in the loose pics is bad, this really needs to stop. Has MattelDesignTeam not addressed this yet?

Sting is the camera flash they match much closer in person with the naked eye. Not perfectly but the best you can do when one part is painted the color and the other is molded in the color. It's maybe a shade off. Like I said on the previous page...At least it isn't yellow like Ryback and 123 Kid.

I live in AZ right by an amazon warehouse and mine shipped shrink wrapped to a back board and inside another box. Must be depending on the warehouse

PJ yeah it does look a lot better there. Slightly off, like the Warrior DM. Ryback was the worst I've ever seen

Mines had two black marks on the back, the face paint under the eyes are a little wonky too. I don't even know why Mattel had to do that, especially on a figure that's expensive. I've contacted both Mattel and Ringside. I'm hoping they do something about it.

AWESOME answer LOL what a way to sell your product. "Oh yeah, they'll keep getting more expensive and there will be many more f ups to come!" THANKS MATTEL!!! LOL

I believe mine came the exact same way. Same with a couple basics I got off there. Be careful MOC collectors

Weird to see Amazon pack things so poorly. I just got two basics and two elites from them, and all four were in individual plastic bags and then the box was filled with air pacs.

Was it from a third party seller or Amazon proper? Guess they gotta recoup selling stuff below retial and giving free shipping.
Edit: never mind, read your response above.

Updated with today's signings and pickups. Sting was really awesome tonight. He was really nice to my dad and I. He talked to us for a few minutes and was really friendly. I've read stuff online where people say he's maybe a little shy or not very talkative, but he was in a great mood tonight. He signed my TNF 2-pack, an 8x10, and my dad and I got our picture taken with him. When I told him my name was Jeff he was like "that's awesome, my brothers name is Jeff". And when I told him "I'm sure you're tired of hearing about The Undertaker, but did you see Smackdown on Tuesday?" he was like "I would love to show up on Smackdown and fight The Undertaker....I hope I can make it happen". A really great and positive experience. I'm so glad it went well, because Sting is my favorite wrestler and now I can say not only did I meet him, but he was just as nice and friendly as I hoped he would be. It always sucks when you meet a hero and they let you down, but Sting was awesome and I'm even more of a fan now than before.

I had always said Sting and Piper were the two wrestlers I would gladly stand in lines for and I have now met both with both experiences being fantastic. Did you stay for the matches? If so who else wrestled besides Nash vs Brawler? Did Animal and Hacksaw wrestle also? And did Sandow wrestle, because I didn't see him during the autographs and one of the event staff said they didn't know where he was, but should have been there.

John Morrison won. -Hacksaw Jim Duggan and The Patriot wrestled some BTW Tag Team who nobody knew. Hacksaw and Patriot won. -Kevin Nash wrestled Brooklyn Brawler, and was about to jacknife him but then didn't and said Brawler gets a mulligan bc he was the only one of the boys that attended Nash's mothers funeral in 94....then Nash chokeslammed Brawlers manager. -Kenny and Mikey from the Spirit Squad wrestled some BTW tag team nobody knew. Spirit Squad won. Road Warrior Animal didn't wrestle, but he came out during the BTW Championship match. It was Flex Armstrong vs. Somebody called Mr. TA in a Poughkeepsie Street fight. Animal came out and distracted Mr. TA. Other than that, a few other matches of just BTW guys nobody knew. Sting came out to open the show and did a quick promo, said it was his Poughkeepsie debut, it was awesome meeting everyone before the show, and then "ok folks, it's SHOWTIME". An ok show. Nothing amazing. Sting was the only reason I went. I dunno why they waited so long to build the ring. I've never ever attended an event where the fans are let in and there's no ring yet. Crazy.

Did you notice the DM case under the table that had the Sting photo on it was from RSC? I should have taken the one surfer Sting photo but I didn't grab it because I had taken the two DM figures with me to have signed. I thought it was funny that the promotor working that table was surprised he only had one GAB figure left about 30 minutes into it. I mean what was he expecting? He had maybe 8 figures in a show where pretty much everyone was there for Sting. I do have to say it was a bit strange that it took so long to get started on building the ring. But I found it really odd how they ran the line to Sting. I mean once you walk up that ramp to the stage they had the line right at the edge of the stage where I was waiting to see someone take that one wrong step. They clearly could have moved the table farther back on the stage and moved the lines farther inward on the stage. lol And I just placed an order for the Flair BP from Amazon. When I saw it was in stock it was $19.99 with Prime. So I mentioned to my wife I was going to order it and within the 3 minutes that took the price dropped to $14.99.
