Hello, I use a spray bottle of acrylic matte finish sealer. I noticed when you spray the entire area, including Mattel's finished plastic, it gives it a sticky, shiny texture. I want to hit only a certain area. For example: In this pic I ONLY want to hit the white stripes on the pads, and the grey stripe on Taker's hat. Any suggestions? Could I just spray a Q-tip with the sealer and rub it across the desired area? Any suggestions / tips are welcome. Thanks!

I'm thinking, if you have to use spray paint, get painters tape, and tape everything you do not want to get painted, BUt there is clear acrylic in tubes/bottles/cans, that you can thin with water, and brush on with a paint brush .
any time I have used spray paint on plastic it seemed sticky, and alters in the heat, depending on your environment/temperature. I don't know if spray paint melts plastic,
experiment on something first, maybe a q-tip will do, I'm thinking depending on the q-tip quality, it will and stickiness of the paint, if the cotton will stick, and spray paint seemed to cure/dry fast.
