The absolute state of 'One Season' Jamie Vardy Still he can console himself with his Premier League winners medal.

I thought you were signing Griezmann and Mahrez. Settling for the next best thing you see.

I thought you were signing Griezmann and Mahrez. Never put in a legit bid for Mahrez, Griezmann funds are put aside. We have £120m to spend on him, don't think we will buy him this window, but depending on how Atletico play next season, I think we may just break the transfer record.

What very reliable sources? Got to say I'd be very, very surprised to see him leave this window. The club won't want to sell after Kante left, Ranieri said on SSN yesterday that he doesn't have a release clause, Riyad has shown no sign of being unwilling to continue here and has been very involved in our pre-season. And let's face it, pretty clear from this summer so far that Arsenal fans are very capable of getting worked up over nothing. Can't see it. Take a stroll on Reddit. 5 sources who are as trust worthy as Ornstein if not even more so has said that Arsenal's €41m offer will be enough to start negotiations with Mahrez.

Chadli seems a good signing for us. Hopefully a few more before the deadline.

Chadli seems a good signing for us. Hopefully a few more before the deadline. Seems like a pointless signing if you ask me. He is an attacking player in a defensive team right now. He will probably knick a goal or two, but it seems like a pointless signing unless Pulis is gonna start Barcelona-It-Up.

Shouldn't say it... But I think deadline day could be very exciting.

So we should only sign defenders and defensive midfielders and not play any strikers, and then when Pulis leaves we have nobody who can score a goal? Yeah, that makes sense.

I'd be willing to put £1000 on the line that he doesn't get more than 5 goals. And you lot score around 25 goals total this season.

You may be right on the first part but there's no way that we're only scoring 25 goals in a season. If you want to bet a grand on that, I'll happily make that bet and enjoy receiving my £1000 at the end of the season. Because even last season we managed 34 and that was with Berahino out of the team for the majority of the campaign, compared to this season where he'll probably stay and we'll have new attacking signings like Chadli, Phillips and hopefully others. Also, 25 goals is only 5 more than Derby who were the worst ever PL team. We average around a goal a game under Pulis so we'll probably finish with between 35-40 goals.

Aston Villa scored 27 goals last year, let's try and keep these predictions realistic.

So if we were actually healthy, we might be a decent squad
Zaza should help.

So this is what buying players feels like. A striker and a partner for Kos. What more could you ask for?

If over the course of two seasons you bid 60-70 million pounds on John Stones and David Luiz, you should fail a fit and proper person test.

I think Stones will come good.
David Luiz is a mess though.
