I just did a quick Auto pick Draft..
QB M. Vick WR T. Owens WR Ro. Williams WR E. Kennison RB E. James RB C. Martin TE J. Shockey K A. Vinatieri DEF New England
Bench: RB C. Benson QB B. Griese WR D. Boston WR K. McCardell K P. Edinger DEF San Diego
Overall, not a bad team at all..I'm really weak in my WR, besides T.O. I need to make some trades for above average WRs, cause that's def. my weak spot. Other than that, my RBs are solid, got a solid QB, hopefully I will pick up some rushing yards along with that, like he did last year. My TE is strong, my kicker is strong, and my defense is especially strong.
What do you think?

Personnally I'm not a big fan of the team.
Vick is always a loose cannon. Your WR department is pretty average apart from TO. Also I'm not a big fan of your RB's, James will do great but I don't see Martin repeating last years performance and Cedric Benson is currently holding out. TE, K and DEF have been well drafted though.

I'm not sure that it will be as good as you think. Vick has great games and horrible games so you never know what you're gonna get. You WR def need improvment but you do have TO so thats a plus. I personally don't like your RB either. James could do good but Peyton will take alot of his yards and I'm not sold on Martin.
Your K, TE and D are all solid though. No weaknesses there.

Don't doubt Martin..Pennington can't throw the long ball, although this year his new Offensive Coordinator is trying to get him in the shot gun formation. And, plus..a big part of the Jets' offense is strictly running, and little outside pasess, so I definitely think Martin is going to be strong.
I agree with james, but when he does get the ball, he's very effective. Peyton has the weapons to throw the long ball, and such..so James won't get the ball as much.

This could be a good team if you have a lot of people in your league. However, if it's anything under 10 teams, you're probably not looking very good.

And, plus..a big part of the Jets' offense is strictly running, and little outside pasess, so I definitely think Martin is going to be strong. mike heimerdinger's offensive scheme is nothing like hackett's a year ago. theyre going to make pennington stretch the field, and incorporate doug jolley, joel dreessen and chris baker in the passing game. as for pennington not being able to throw the deep ball, he has a mediocre arm... but so does tom brady, for instance. pennington was the #1 rated passer in the NFL on passes over 25 yards last year. as for your team, its got a lot of holes. vick's rushing numbers are nice, but they dont account for the fact that passing-wise he's a bottom-tier fantasy football QB. your WR's are awful. edge james will have a nice year, martin will be average and benson will split carries with jones. shockey is being used more as a blocker in coughlin's offense, and he's extremely injury prone. you NEED to pick up a dependable backup TE. im not crazy about the bench, either. griese wont be starting for long in tampa, boston is a hack, mccardell is getting pushed down the san diego depth chart. edinger is solid at kicker, because minnesota will chew up a lot of real estate. overall team: C

Now, for a TE, now that the Jets are going to try and use the field more, should I pick up Doug Jolley? other than that, there really isn't any strong TEs out there. Maybe I can use a trade, to get a top TE?..or should I focus on a different position, like my WRs..which absolutely sucks..it's gonna kill me, unless I can get a good trade in.
