- who cares about the colour, mattel could of released each in a different attire the backlash of them not matching would blow these boards up, glad they made the right call in matching attires though now wish they were Purple after seeing those pics |

It just sucks that the first round of New Day figs were blue, then the second round of basics were blue, and then the first set of elites were...blue. They're obviously Crips. |

am i color blind? because its not blue to me. its more purple than blue. the bottom line is that its darker than the baby blue they debuted with and the designs are different. they are great figures and i like them. mattel doesnt have the sparkly shiny glittery color anyways. alberto shouldve had that but didnt.

If Mattel wanted do to them in purple, they would have, just without the glitter. They favored blue again is all that's to it, and those are the renders they probably had for reference. I'm all for the latest attires of pink & yes, once again (light) blue combo (Kofi & Xavier appear reciprocated, heavier dose of each respective color), becoming elites sometime. As in, I hope they're re-painting the current elites right now, as we speak, for future release. New Day wears them a lot, and wore different versions of pink & light blue leading up to when they seemed to have settled on the gear they sport nowadays. I HOPE Mattel isn't lazy (and they typically are NOT) and just re-paints with same designs to an outdated form of the pink. Then that'd be an issue: "Well, we got pink, but not THEE pink we wanted." And it's here we go again! I concur with the general consensus though that the ones on television repeatedly right now have ELITE written all over them!
Obviously, we won't get more than 1 accessory i.e. ring gear only--though they deserve belts & i'd take them and another trombone or other accessories, such as the infamous cereal box & whatever else they tend to bring out in lieu of the vests/duster--but oh well, not like Kofi's second accessory was THAT great. Creative, yes, but tag title woulda been better, in a sense. These dudes have yet to come with those, even considering as long as they've been champs now! No doubt IF we do get them, it'll be outdated, and Gallows & Anderson will have them by then or someone else, probably not Vaudevillains 'cause God forbid WWE try to properly push/make them relevant, and tag titles could certainly help someone like them. I'm a firm believer, for instance, that New Day, like Jake Roberts, Andre The Giant & innumerable amounts of other wrestlers, do NOT need gold, or copper pennies with Spartan/Trojan helmets rather, to get/BE over, as they already clearly are!
