My dental routine has always been pretty damn constant, down to Patrick Bateman levels. However, my mind was blown recently when I discovered a few friends of mine actually floss their teeth AFTER brushing. This is an incredibly alien concept to me. But it got me thinking, maybe I'm the weird one.
Not that the results of this poll will ever change my routine. But this is typically how it goes for me...
1) Floss 2) Brush 3) Mouthwash
So, what do you do? And if you are one of these strange creatures who actually flosses after brushing without hating yourself in the process, do explain your reasoning.

1. Brush 2. Floss 3. Brush again
Granted, I don't floss as I regularly should, but I can't stress the importance of good oral hygiene. I have a mouth full of old fillings that I got when I didn't brush my teeth as a kid.
Don't be a yuckmouth, kids!

I don't really floss as often as I should but I usually floss after brushing. I think that's how they actually taught us in school when they had those dumb dental hygiene days. Flossing before brushing actually makes a lot more sense though.
Now I actually use a water pick on full blast instead of floss. The high pressure water just knocks stuff out and it's easier to reach the back.

Wait an hour after eating. Idk something I saw in a video for dental hygiene when I was a kid.
Floss, brush & mouthwash. In that order.

I brush first, then floss, then Listerine. Anyways, I'm intrigued by using a water-pik in lieu of flossing. It was a pretty enlightening moment when I started using an electric brush (Oral-B Crossaction for the mother ing win). So maybe a water-pik is the way to go floss-wise. As far as mouth wash, I used Listerine for years. But I recently changed to Crest.

Brushing too soon can actually help spread the sugars on your teeth. That's why you want to wait a bit after eating so your saliva can help neutralize the acidity. Especially if you're a soda drinker. If you brush right after drinking a soda, you might as well just use kool-aid as your mouthwash.

I floss, brush then mouthwash.
Real question, do this before shower or after?
I feel really weird if I don't clean my teeth before my shower.

Looking at the votes, I can't help but wonder if that many people actually floss AFTER brushing (cringe), or if they just voted brush because they don't floss regularly or at all

I've never used a water pick, but when I go to the dentist those things are great.

Brush. Tongue cleaner #1. Tongue cleaner #2. Dentek floss pick. Mouthwash.
Twice a day.
People need to invest in tongue cleaners & scrapers, cause some of y'all in society got a gross ass tongue.

Just brush and I stay immaculate. Try a Plaque Disclosing Tablet. Then see where you're at.
