The heel won in a screwy way because he's a heel. If it was almost anyone else, I'd agree with you 100%...but you know how Vince is about guys that made it on their own. I'm actually a little surprised AJ won the match. |

I don't know who booked this show but so far they've crapthe god damn bed.
That was an amazing match with an absolutely abysmal ending.
Get ready to watch AJ lay down for two matches.

The story that match told was fantastic. Cena underestimated AJ Styles and AJ looked like he had Cena's number. It would have been a great storyline where AJ gets the better of Cena and Cena starts to doubt whether he can hang with the top guys. Instead, they went with the safest possible outcome and have AJ win because of The Club. Quite frustrating to watch that happen.

This is absurd. Simply absurd. This has been my least favorite MITB PPV as a whole in quite some time. This match had potential... then it got ruined. The MITB match has potential and I think will be the only thing worth seeing from this PPV. I ain't expecting much from Rollins and Reigns. Seth carries Roman and then the "unexpected swerve" we all see coming halfway through match occurs and JBL, Byron and Cole are the only ones surprised except the small 8 year old near the front row.....

I don't even think the brand split is going to go into effect fully until after Summerslam. They're not gonna cut off feuds they're in the middle of. Not to mention, there's a PPV the week that Smackdown goes live.
Then again, they probably have no idea what they're doing anyway.
