The crowd and it seems the iwc has been getting behind Dillinger lately. Not a bad thing, he was so bland and at first the 10 thing was dumb, but I have been getting behind it too lately. He has a good better than you persona going on, just hope they keep letting him grow and he doesn't get lost with the new influx of indie and new signees coming in. I still don't like the gimmick but I've been impressed with his in-ring work since his match against Sami in London. |

Currently watching...
Very prescient opening video package. It feels like the end of a lot of associated feelings I have with NXT as a whole.
Decent opener with Bo Derek and the former La Sombra. I'm so glad the latter didn't wrestle in his entrance attire.
American Alpha were awesome. So much effort and hard work. Would've been nice if the Revival sold some more, especially after their win, but the match was a fine tag match that evoked memories of The Midnight Express and Rock n Roll Express. I have to say though - a big 'stuff you' to the camera team missing Alpha's ode to The Steiners.
The crowd 'singing' along with Nakamura's entrance made me happy and sad at the same time...especially when they did it numerous times. But good on 'em, that's their way.
Christ - what a match...insane amount of effort from both guys.
...I'll watch the rest tomorrow.

Good show. Tag title bout was clearly MOTN for me. Such great chemistry between teams, and a clear understanding of how to work a tag match.
Aries/Nakamura was good, but just a little something missing that I can't place keeping it from being great. I don't like the crowd chanting his theme. That's Samis thing to me. It's ok during the entrance, but constantly during the match comes off as annoying to me, like the crowd has to put themselves over.

As always TakeOver delivers. The tag title match was my MOTN. Alpha are so good and so over it's unbelievable. But credit to Revival because they build the heat so well. We've seen the women headline a TakeOver it's about time the tag titles headline (not counting Dusty Tournament). I think the booking to change the title is great. It's unexpected and sets up the decider. If AA won, then it'd be like who would beat them.
Nakamura/Aries was great but lacked that special something. Aries led Nakamura though that match. Joe/Balor was good but also lacked something. I was really impressed by Jax/Asuka especially Nia who led the match showing she's come a long way. Hopefully, this leads to a three way with Bayley involved. Tye is freaking awesome but I can't see that transitioning to the main roster. ACA looks good, I'm sure he'll put on some great matches going forward.

That was BY FAR THE BEST Joe/Balor match to date, they tore it down. I actually liked it more than Aries/Nakamura but that might change on my second viewing. I missed a good bit of the first two matches so I'll be watching the show again after Smackdown is over. Edit: Also, Tye  ing Dillinger needs a push immediately. In my honest opinion he outshined Almas, not drastically but I felt he really proved something in that short match. By the way, if I have a gripe with anything about the show it's the length of the show/matches. Everything except Aries/Nakamura felt a little shorter than it should have. |

Bobby Roooo, huh? Interesting. Amazing to see the Avalanche Muscle Buster again after so many years. Truly glad it is 'the end' between these two. Not because it's overdone, but that they can both move on. As for Balor...what to say - same engine under a shiny exterior. Nothing out of the ordinary as per usual. Decent show. Sky's the limit now for NXT moving forward. |

I think DDP's opponents would sometimes get a 1 card or a 0 card during the opening moments of the match. |

Graves seemed VERY annoyed during that Pre-Show it was odd. Edit: He doesn't have any chemistry with the girls which is odd because he kills it with everyone else. |
