Does this mean we could one day get a Typhoon figure?? :0 The rumored Tugboat is pretty much confirmed sine this figure is clearly a repaint of that (line down pants, puckered lips) so that will happen first. Ott and Tenta are both signed so a Natural Disasters are a big possibility. Just hoping they're elites and not Battle Packs.

I'll spare saying anything too much more on it because so many have made it clear about how there are some on these forums who refuse to read, let alone the ones who are bugged & bothered by the mere, sheer SIGHT of long posts, despite not even skimming, most likely. Albeit I should just randomly ramble, rant & rave on, simply to get under the flesh of a few--I can't think of anyone off the top of my head right now, thus this is aimed at no one in particular--since those folks are funny (to me). Meanwhile, I can find it within myself to keep carrying on...imagine that!

I can't see Mattel spending money on two sets of parts for Earthquake and Typhoon so most likely new elites

Re-paint Earthquake black, white & red, and re-paint Shockmaster/Tugboat red, white & black. Accessories: Classic Tag Titles (again, I know, but hey y'all asked for them repeatedly and we can't say Bill hasn't delivered!) . . . DONE!

I'd hate it if 1/2 of my Natural Disasters was saying "toot toot."

No no...If you repaint Tugboat then you're going to have a Typhoon with a painted on singlet that's larger then Quake and Quake will have a sculpted singlet while being smaller then Typhoon. If they're going to make the Natural Disasters then they absolutely have to use the same mold for both Quake & Typhoon (cause they're not gonna create a new one for Typhoon) and there's very little difference in their looks IRL.

Nivro™ & Fighter Hayabusa (who doesn't seem able to be tagged, probably due to preference settings): I had a lapse there in thought. I admit I didn't really think my comment through. Obviously though, you're both correct that some scan adaptation, or modifying entirely rather, and re-TOOLing, as opposed to re-PAINTing, would be necessary for the different characters of the infamous Fred Ottman and the other examples ya both made mention of as well.

I gotta wonder how it is alright for Shockmaster to be created in full attire. What I'm getting at is the Star Wars Stormtrooper helmet, of course. Obviously, Mattel has the green light, I'm guessing because it's not technically considered that type of helmet, once covered all over in glitter? Speaking of which, the paint on this excellent exclusive proves Mattel CAN do glittery appearances. I only bring that up because I've seen it stated that Mattel shouldn't do certain colors if they CAN'T do them properly & such. In other words, New Day coulda gotten their PURPLE & silver ring gear if Mattel really wanted to do that one, but I s'pose being in the regular Elite lineup and all, each respective member couldn't have more expensive paint, perhaps. And no, I don't intend to recharge the debate about whether they ever wore the blue garb--at least Kofi DID, if not all members, as discussed before--with those similar designs also present on the purple threads.

It's close to a stormtrooper helmet. It's just different enough that they can get away with it.

I posted a pic in the other SDCC thread comparing the real Shockmaster helmet to the figure helmet to a plain Stormtrooper helmet. Its close but different. Kinda looks like the offspring that woulda been produced if a Stormtrooper helmet had sex with a classic Cylon helmet.

So of all the past wrestling gimmicks they could've chosen, they choose Shockmaster... Quite shocking!
