it's so they can paint singlets on the torsos. It's all about versatility in parts reuse. Mattel wrote the book on parts reuse. What figures have had a singlet painted on a torso? It's another point of deco. why bother with something so unnecessary at the expense of deco points on attires?

The BCA's had molded nipples so I don't understand why they stopped putting them on figures. A friend of mine paints nipples on his figures and they look much better.
If you wrestle topless your nipples are exposed so if your figure is going to be made the lack of nipples takes away the detail.

I cannot wait for the elite boxes to say "with molded tassels and sculpted nipples" as accessories.

Why complain about missing chest hair when an actual part of anatomy is left off of everyone? Im not for or against nipples, I just find it odd.

No one looks at a figure and goes, "you know what would put this figure over the top, a pair of nipples." They're an unnecessary detail.

Why do you care that much? Do you stare at mens nipples? Do you rub your figures fantasizing about the missing nipples? Alright I'm done lol, in all seriousness I never really gave it much thought as to why mattel doesn't put nipples on toys.
