The original is untouchable. The sequel is still great, and the third one not so much - but as a trilogy, they're awesome.

Love em all but 2 has always been my favorite. 1 is a classic as well. 3 is a step down but still enjoyable.

Two more things that don't add up...
In part 1, George stops Biff from forcing himself on Lorraine. But George still hires Biff to detail his car all those years later? Why would George want Biff anywhere near his family? He's an attempted rapist and all.
In BTTF3, Doc hides the Delorean in a cave for Marty to find all those years later. When Marty travels back to rescue Doc, the Delorean fuel line gets damaged. So Doc & Marty are forced to use a train to get up to 88 miles per hour so Marty can get home. Why didn't they just get the one in the cave out?

Part III is my favourite. I love the Wild West and I love Time Travel, how could it not be III?

If they used the Delorean from the cave - it wouldn't be there for Marty to find in the future, which means Marty couldn't have travelled back to 1885 to find the Doc - temporal paradox.

I love the Back to the Future trilogy. They are all good, I'd say I prefer the second one, but the first one is very close too. The third is also pretty good, awesome to end the trilogy, but it's not the one I prefer.

I saw that all three are being added to Netflix in July(2016). That's pretty cool.

I always liked 2 the best but recently I've come to realize that the original is a masterpiece and the sequels are just pretty good.

I can't believe I'm about to say this but I have NEVER seen any of them fully.
I will be watching all three on Netflix starting this week. Very excited.

First one is nearly perfect. 2 & 3 are both pretty good too though. The only problem I ever had with the franchise was finally brought up on Family Guy... Such a glaring plot hole that has bothered me for 3o years. Could someone elaborate on this for me? Like I said I've never seen them all fully, but I'd like to know about this beforehand so I'm not sitting there going what the lol Edit: , sorry about the double post.

Marty goes back in time and sets his parents up when they where in high school. Then he goes back to the present, but at the same time, he's the whole reason they are together in the first place.

Oh wow. Lmao I'm already sitting here wondering why he would even have to do that in the first place...... This is gonna be hard to overlook but I'm glad I know beforehand. Can't wait to start cranking through them, probably going to watch the first one tomorrow night.

To elaborate more on what Thunder Chunky says, By going back in time Marty inadvertently prevents his parents from meeting. Which will eventually erase his (and his brother & sister's) existence. So he has to try to get them to fall in love. But the problem is, he goes by his own name "Marty" when he goes back to the past. So we are to believe that his father and mother never noticed their son's striking resemblance to the kid that got them together. The same guy that he shares a name with. You'd think George would be awfully suspicious. It's a glaring plot-hole in an otherwise fantastic movie.

Let's get real though... they hand't seen the guy in 13 years when they named Marty, Marty. By the time Marty hits the age they met him at in 1955 it would have been 30 years ago. I don't know about you guys, but I don't remember what my 2nd grade teacher looked like 20+ years ago and I spent a whole school year with her. She could look exactly like my time traveling grandma and I wouldn't know the difference. We see time instantly transfer from 1955 to 1985 in the film. The characters experience life in real time though. Nearly 11,000 some odd days pass between meeting Marty 55 to experiencing Marty 85. Not to mention, Marty was only in 1955 for like a week. The likelihood of George or Lorraine actually remembering what Marty looked like from spending 7 days with him 30 years ago is slim to ing none. That "plot hole" is nonsense imo.

I'm loving this movie so far. Like I said I've seen it before in bits and pieces and always enjoyed it. However watching the whole film from the start is a whole different experience. Thanks for the reply though!

3. Three gets a bad wrap all the time. 3 gives us closure. Plus I've always loved westerns.
