i am not religious by any means, but i do have my own concept on heaven and hell.
i think we all go to heaven, based on what we do in our lives, if not, i think we go into some sort of purgatory, and are reincarnated to right our wrongs. that concept for me is simple.
now hell i honestly think is the world we live in. we got people killing eachother everyday. hate crimes, terrorist attacks, and the list goes on. so, in that respect, when somebody tells me i am going to hell, i simply say "pick up a newspaper, we are already there!"

It's a pretty good album. I honestly prefer the Black Sabbath records with Ozzy though.

I'm not really sure where I stand on either. I'm a believer that something, someone, somewhere created what created the Big Bang; and as a result billions of years later us, there's something out there. But as for where we end up I honestly don't know.

Well that's certainly a valid statement as that's how a lot of people look at religion, especially historians when they look back at say Middle Ages Catholicism when the Vatican was the most powerful place in the world, that doesn't mean it can't exist; just how certain people will view it. |

I'm not a believer in the whole heaven and hell thing. This one life we have is it. Some people have a hard time believing that there is nothing after this life but it's pretty simple. You were aware of nothing before you were born. No consciousness, no memories, nothing. That's how it'll be when you pass away. You're not asleep or dreaming. No spirit whisked away into the clouds. Just nothing for the rest of time.

I believe in heaven and hell. Though my perspective of hell, differs from that of many others. I believe that all people inherently have a belief of what is good and seek to bring this into reality. I do not believe that people truly burn in hell, but rather reform.

I think it's kind of silly to live your life thinking that you're going to exist on some other plane of existence after you go. With no evidence to support it, you're hinging hope on an idea that stems from one in a set of millions upon millions of possible outcomes throughout history.

I hate the fact that the idea of heaven seems so ridiculous to me. Because it would be great. It's just not realistic or believable to me, at least no more so than Santa is.

I believe in both heaven and hell, but I've also wondered if reincarnation is what really happens. When people describe near death experiences, you almost always hear about people seeing a bright white light. So what if the bright light is you being born as someone else?
Either way I've got a good 70-80 years left until I have to worry about this stuff, so I'd prefer not thinking about what happens after death.
