Source: PWInsider.com This past Saturday morning TNA’s Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer Dean Broadhead put up a post on his personal Facebook page saying he had to, “secure interim financing,” within a twelve hour window in order for, “production trucks to roll,” for this weekend’s events. He wrote that between Thursday and Friday of last week he had logged over eighty phone calls on his personal cell phone to different attorneys, vendors, bankers and employees. He, again, noted that he only had a twelve hour timeframe in which to deal with all of these people that were spread out all over the world. He also said, “Maybe it’s time to retire. But maybe not until everything is in it’s right place.” According to sources that PWInsider spoke with, if Broadhead were to follow through with retiring it would be a major loss for TNA. It’s being said that Broadhead’s financial management is a major reason that the company has been able to exist the way it has for the last few years. PWInsider notes that Aroluxe had been handling the financial end of TNA’s TV production so it may have been a case of TNA having to reimburse Aroluxe in order to move forward with producing Slammiversary and TV tapings. They also note that over the weekend Billy Corgan came close to or has already come on board as a new minority owner in the company. Corgan’s investment may have helped TNA salvage the weekend. PWInsider finishes by noting that they are told there are three potential suitors that they could strike a deal with soon. Dixie is more willing to watch TNA die than give up majority ownership. I tell ya, that's a special blend of ego and stupidity.
Good on TNA for kicking out at 2¾. Again.

Well, what does Dixie get if she sells and instead of watching it die? She will get paid X dollars. But I am sure X dollars aint worth the shame or hit to her ego that this kind of failure would cause. Worse yet....what if TNA turns around and becomes a global empire. She will be looked at as the fool that sold TNA for pennies on the dollar. I'd rather go down with the ship then to just admit failure....at least at this point. I think there was a point she could have sold and moved away with no hit to the ego. But we are LONG pass that.

I dunno, but I'd think that bowing out of the company before you could do any further damage would be less embarrassing than knowing that your decisions and stubbornness pretty much single-handedly sunk the company. I think the odds of TNA becoming a global empire due to Dixie selling are about as good as a million dollars flying through my window tomorrow. AT BEST, it could become a viable candidate for being the undisputed #2 company in America again. At least if she did sell, she could see the company she put so much time and effort into - no matter how detrimental - actually have a chance to do something again. People already look at Dixie as a fool. People will always look at Dixie as a fool. Dixie is a fool. Her not selling won't make her look any less so.

Eight? Says Twelve.
That's a whole extra four hours for TNA to clutch on the strings of hope...eight sitcoms worth of time!

I said the same thing when I was given a stock tip on ebay. I was like....that will never work. No way are people just going to send money to strangers all around the world for their leftover junk. That has fail all over it. It was a damn penny stock! I could have been rich!!! I'll never stop hitting my head for that one.

Last I saw, Billy Corgan provided a loan so that the Pay-Per-View and TV tapings could go on, and they're still weeks behind paying production.

So tna actually had to pay people or the show would not start ? So paying people 3 weeks late or not at all is not working anymore ?
I wonder if the production people went on a mini-strike and demanded payment before they worked the show.

True. And watched her crawl all over the bar. BUT....ebay man....EBAY!!! Could've been worse... you could've missed out on Apple or Google. True. I probably would have passed on both too though. Apple I was aware of and always thought of them as the step child to PC. Never would have dreampt about iphone or itunes or ipad or ipod. Google....I dont think I would have truly understood the idea behind it. eBay I understood. I just didnt think it would ever take off due to security issues. Paypal I would have jumped on board had I gotten tip on them. True. And watched her crawl all over the bar. BUT....ebay man....EBAY!!! How old are you? EBay was founded in 95. Sadly...old. Damn near 40 now. My dad got me started on the stock market when I was in the 8th grade. We would look over stocks and see where we wanted to invest and then we would track it and see when we wanted to sell, etc. One that I did get on turned ugly. It was called Track Girls Gone Nuts. It was like Girls Gone Wild, except it involved girls at the NASCAR races. It was endorsed by a few well known athletes. I bought 10000 shares of it at $.03 a share. The stock reached a high of like $1.65! Every day it would just keep going up and up. Some days by a quarter, some days by 15 cents. But it was always on the rise. Dad said to sell, but I was waiting for it to hit $2.00. As soon as it hit $2.00, I was getting off the ship. It never did. Started to see a small decline and another small decline. I got worried, but stayed confident. Who didnt want to see 2 hot chicks making out? Then a big decline and finally it would just die. Its worth like $.0001 of a cent. I cant even sell it now without costing myself money just to make the trade. I probably should have used my head and I mean the one 3 feet above my shoulders.
