I'm willing to wager anything that Akeem will get reissued before One Man Gang ever gets released.

I met Gang in 2004. We worked at a prison together but I only met him once because we worked at different locations inside the prison. He was a super nice guy. I was too star struck to really talk to him but it was cool to meet him anyway. I really hope he gets a legends deal. For us to get a figure and for him because he deserves it.

He still does lots of indy bookings - hence why the EXCLUSIVE legends deal nets them less money. Same as steiner.

There has to be some loop hole or exceptions to the rules about working indy dates and such because folks like Xpac, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and others still regularly take indy bookings and appearances.

Funny you mention 3 members of the Kliq when a 4th is a head honcho in the company. Sure makes ya wonder about these kinda things i.e. potential preferential treatment being given to buddies (paying no mind to the supposed strict guidelines apparently existent in regards to these contracts & such). Granted, I could be WAY off the mark, but I just find it a little more than sheer coincidence when those specific names come up! I remember when Bret Hart loathed the fact that Shawn Michaels directly informed him how he was going to look out for all his friends, so they could work on top of cards and make all the money. This extends well beyond the business politics backstage and in-ring of course, but heck, who's to say that the Kliq doesn't still pull the puppet strings in several other ways, to this day?

I agree but it just isnt the members of the kliq. Bret Hart himself who has a legends deal makes numerous indy appearances and bookings, so does Ric Flair, Lex Luther, Rikishi, Boooker T, I can go on.

I'm willing to wager anything that Akeem will get reissued before One Man Gang ever gets released. Which would be a travesty of sorts, but sort of in line with my concerns over the new Legends line. So many characters and attires yet to consider before we get too enamored with reissuing anything that goes for, like, $25 on the auction sites.

Well, Bill said they weren't relaunching the Legends line, so I'm guessing that they will be rereleases and repaints.

True...I mean I knew there were plenty others anyways, but I had to take that prime opportunity dished out on a silver platter with the names mentioned prior to my post lol

Well I think WWE and LexCorp have a special deal LOL But yeah, Trips looks out for his friends and the bigger names have more clout and some names are just 'worth more'. Bret, Booker, nwo or dx alumni they can make LOTS more money. OMG is old and an 80's legend...so he doesn't have as much cache as you'd think - plus it's all politics. WWE/McMahons play games with people... New York is a very immature place at times. This immaturity has actually really hindered the way our legends are used. They're willing to make money off of them - but not really give them any respect. You gotta love the way E&C has given the legends some tv time. Those guys are solid dudes.

I actually don't care much about magnum compared to OMG. Gang is one of my big wants. I think I've asked about it at least once a month since the proto was shown.
