Hey guys, havent posted in a while
I attended WrestleMania Weekend along with Axxess earlier this year and just happened to be in the right place at the right time. While at Axxess, i saw a WWE Film Crew filming people and decided to partake. They had me cut a short promo on Randy Orton, plugging WrestleMania and the WrestleMania Superstore at Axxess. They had me sign a Release Form, take a selfie with it and told me it would air on the Network sometime in June. I still haven't seen anything
If you've ever been filmed for a segment like that, how long does it usually take for them to air it?
Thanks!

It might have been something for swerved like that Macho Man impression they had as a cut between pranks, you might not have made the final show

I got filmed for Total Divas in Brooklyn during Summer Slam weekend.
It never made the show, at least it didn't make the episode that revolved around SS.....I wasn't watching an entire season to see if it got put in another episode.
If anyone saw a dude wearing a black/white/grey Summer Slam Tank Top and a White Polo hat in an episode of TD somewhere HOLLA at ya boy lol

I was filmed at WM30's Axxess with the New Age Outlaws. I was getting a DX canvas print signed, so as soon as a WWE rep saw it, they pulled me out of line until they could get their TV crew in place to record it. The recording/interaction lasted about 2 minutes, while the crew got multiple angles. I never had to sign anything. I didn't really look around too hard to see if the footage was ever used. They might just archive the footage if they don't use it. They film all weekend & usually cut everything into a 60 second video during WM.

I'm not calling you a lair... but if they filmed you they had you sign a release. That way you can't sue later for unlawful use of your image. Especially a company that large. They aren't dumb.

Having been filmed by the media before, I never had to sign anything beforehand. Not to mention, I was interviewed for a newspaper here in New York City which led to what I told the reporter actually making it on print and online. In regards to the WWE, they shoot more footage than they can actually use. Also, they shoot about 4-5 hours worth of content for one episode of Total Divas. Only to use 45 minutes of all of that. It is common for companies to film more footage than they really need.

They would be using his likeness to make money.....

Well, it definitely happended, and I didn't sign anything, nor was I asked too. Perhaps that's why it wasn't used, but I don't know specifically when that was put into place. Believe me, I know about the waivers. I'm more familiar with WWE Public Relations than most people here: forum.wrestlingfigs.com/thread/333592/camera-wrestlemania-32-experience

Sometimes at any wwe live event, including axxess, in the very fine print it says something along the lines of "with purchase and attendance of this event you hereby give WWE wwe full media right to use your image etc"

I was filmed making out with Paige for an episode of Total Divas. But once she got naked, they decided not to use the footage. Glad I could help.

BayMella took a group shot of some fans waiting outside the venue for an NXT show in Asbury Park, and I'm in it. Does that count?

I was in the WM19 DVD at a autograph signing for Edge and they used the footage in the DVD. I didn't have to sign anything.

Before TakeOver: London, they announced something along the lines of "by attending this event, you agree that your likeness can be used on TV", I believe.

A friend of mine was just filmed at Axxess for one of the segments used between pranks in Swerved. I'm pretty sure he didn't have to sign a release form.
By the way, they asked what he'd do if he won $10,000 (I think). His response was "Say YES! YES! YES! ... and then buy a replica title." Haha

Wwe made me sign twice at axxess. One in line for Paige, which I was actually shown on camera in an episode for total divas. Also when me and my kids met Sheamus they made us sign a waiver as well.
