Hey it's raining in St. Louis, it could get worse as the day goes on, but let's spend the next 45 minutes talking about the game instead of just ing starting it...

4-0 loss to the Bruins...
At least the free ice cream and food I got was awesome.

I don't wanna talk about the last 48 hours. I do want to talk about trading Flower though.

I was looking around the house for something to break just in case the Hawks lost to the Avs.

Sometimes the Pens are great. Sometimes they suck. Right now, I'll talk about it.

So the flyers beat the sharks in overtime, that same night I went with a couple friends to a phantoms (minor affiliate) game. It was like night and day watching the two teams, which leads me to thinking it's definitely a coaching/system issue. The team is nothing more than a perimeter team full of passers. No risk, even when guys get into the slot they're still looking to pass.

Great game last night. I'm glad the ice held up after all of this really hot weather we have had. When we had the game against the Craps a few years back the ice was falling to bits because it was almost 70, I'm glad it turned out well for the fans and the players. Both the Pens and Flyers seemed to be in good spirits about the atmosphere of the outside game last night which is cool.

My best friend and I decided to go to the game lol it was pretty fun aside from the outcome and the idiot Pens fan that was sitting next to me that didnt know how to trash talk. Im just glad it didnt rain or anything and the weather was good.

Tad cold with the blistering winds but worth seeing Flyer fans cry all night. From watching interviews with Dan Craig (NHL's ice tech), it really isn't the heat that messes up the ice, its the rain. The 2011 Winter Classic at Heinz too rained all night and stayed around 42 degrees. It was a miserable night in 2011, this year was MUCH better. Highlight off ice was in the third period, two obese dudes taking their shirts off and having a dance off across multiple sections lol. Idk if it was because I was drunk, but it was hilarious.

Pens get shut out by the Flyers, at least it wasn't at home so there's that.
