How is it abit much? Dude has been handed EVERYTHING that the others could only dream of. And he still screws up.

IMO, I think it's the right type of punishment other than taking away a little bit of his push for violating the wellness program while being the champion and top guy. He f***ed, he admitted it, after he apologizes to the boys in the back and after being depushed to upper card for a bit, he should bounce back and be fine. I personally wouldn't care if he got his push back, but it does send a bad message to the boys.

When does the WWE apologize to me for Roman?

Eh... that's pretty humiliating and unnecessary imo. Plus it was forced down by Triple H and makes it less sincere anyway.
I think if WWE really wants Roman to "apologize" for what he's done that you take him out of the Battleground main event and make him earn it again. The same way Triple H earned it after the Curtain Call. Put him in the midcard and really send a message to your locker room. A half-hearted speech your boss forced you to make isn't going to accomplish anything. Words don't mean anything. Actions do.

I don't get how that's a punishment, that's just common courtesy to apologise to a group of people who work hard whilst you get handed everything.
His punishment is the suspension, this is just him doing what's right.

Good! If you fumble the ball... you apologize.

Interesting that it was forced down by Triple H.... because we all remember what happened back in 1996 with Triple H having to take the heat over the Kliq Farewell message at MSG.
Maybe Triple H is hoping Roman will learn from that and eventually grow from it, and not make that mistake ever again. It could all be a learning lesson at the end of the day!

Think the Usos said something corny like "No doubt, Uce" then gave him an exaggerated handshake/hug?

Rightfully so. He has a duty as the face of the company to carry himself like a professional and not get involved in craplike that. By doing something like he did, he made the company look bad by putting all of their faith in him. It's only right that he apologises to his colleagues.

It was the right call IMO. Having to stand infront of the entire roster and apologise would be a complete humiliation so hopefully it will put him and many others off reoffending again.
Too many guys got away with this the past and they just continued doing it.

BAH GAWD, WHAT IS ROLAND DRAINS DOING IN THE IMPACT ZONE??!!!!!!
People are saying this is a but much and needlessly humiliating. He was anointed the top guy in a very public and nauseatingly overstated fashion. He is going from a suspension RIGHT back into the main event of a PPV. As the chosen one, he should be held to a higher standard than guys who stand no chance at that role no matter what they do. An apology is very much in order. Do you know how many guys back there would kill to be where he is? If this were someone like Zack Ryder, it might technically be a 30 day, but it would pretty much be career suicide. We still haven't seen Connor back yet, not that anyone cares, but the point is that there is a spotlight on this being a double standard. One guy immediately bounces back into the main event with a high profile title match, someone else might die a slow and agonizing death for the remainder of their contract and then eventually turn up in the Impact Zone.

This would make a bit more sense if there was any evidence to suggest Roman was a draw, who, by being suspended, would be costing the rest of the talent money. Obviously that isn't the case, but I suppose it's still a courtesy to apologize when you're being promoted as the face of the company and you completely drop the ball.

1) Please don't go off topic with what I am about to say, but this sort of proves Cena was never on anything. If a suspension and this can happen to Reigns, it can happen to Cena. As much as I can't stand Cena, at least he is a company man and didn't jeopardize his spot.
2) I wish Scotty 2 Hotty or Brodus Clay were still in WWE. I would love for Roman to get the R Truth treatment and become a comedy act for a bit. Maybe form a dancing tag team with Snow, Hotty, Rikishi, or Clay. Hmm...maybe Rikishi. That is how one should get punished in wrestling.

Good for WWE making him do this. I wonder if they will ever release what he was suspended for.

what kind of salary does he have if he's making roughly $100,000 in one month BEFORE merchandise and royalty cheques? 1.2 million plus. not a bad gig at all.

As much as I can't stand Cena, at least he is a company man and didn't jeopardize his spot. if you don't want people to go off topic, don't state something that is both wrong and off topic. john cena started in bodybuilding. anyone can tell you that you cannot succeed within bodybuilding without SERIOUS amounts of steroids. he hasn't shrunk at all since then and he's nearly 40. anyone that does not think john cena is on steroids literally does not understand what the human body is capable of and not capable of and needs to do far more reading than writing on the subject. it's not even up for debate, and i'm not being a dick about it at all - READ about what the body can and can't do. that goes for triple h, big e, roman reigns, braun stroman, brock lesnar, and the list goes on. it is people with these naive, uneducated mindsets such as your own that allow steroids to be used to the degree they are and somehow, laughably to the educated, go unnoticed. nevermind the fact that it's far more likely, if not positively, a narcotic that roman reigns was caught for than steroids.

You can get big without using steroids lmao it's a joke if you think you can't. It's called working out daily for hours, eating right and sticking to it.
