They never asked Owens to lose weight as far as I know. I they specifically asked Hero to get in shape. Your employer tells you to do something you do it or get fired. Simple as that. That's what I mean, I know they didn't do it with Owens but I find it a bit ridiculous they told Hero to lose weight but continue to push a fat guy. It's personal. When HHH offers to train with you and you blow him off you kiss your career and your paycheck goodbye. HHH offers to train you, you show up with a copy of his workout book and a humble attitude and get to work.

Wait, who is the pot and who is the kettle in this scenario? WWE is the pot in this scenario, calling Hero fat when they push Owens. You've definitely got the wrong idea about how the saying works.

Kevin Owens isn't fat. His belly is just a fuel tank for a wrestling machine!
Seriously, I don't care if someone is fat or not. He's great on the mic and great in the ring. Like I don't care that Rey Mysterio is short for the same reasons. Both him and KO are badass. Plus it would be kinda boring if all wrestlers looked the same.

I'm from the UK hence why I know what I mean I'm from the UK too, and there is no interpretation of the phrase that applies to your scenario. The pot calling the kettle black would apply if Owens was calling Hero fat, or vice versa.

Haven't got a problem with Owens, just pisses me off why they got on at Chris Hero for being overweight yet continue to push Owens. Pot calling the kettle black They didn't just get rid of Hero because he was overweight. I believe it was because he didn't want to get into shape. You gotta do what the company tells you. Now, they may be okay with Owens' weight and not Hero's and I don't know why, but still.

Maybe it's because Owens may work to stay at a consistent size while Hero wasn't willing to do that and just got heavier and heavier.
