....this is nothing to do with the HOF line. I think people have a legitimate reason for being angry/complaining about the last few DM figures though - GAB Sting, Ultimate Maniacs Warrior and now (especially) this John Cena are NOT worth the extra money ( £6 here) that DM figures retail for... there have been regular Elites that have included more or seem to have a higher budget. As fans, we don't want to dislike figures/lines - but the DM line is going down the toilet... fast. If Mattel can't give us big names (like Owen/Angle/Goldberg etc.) OR make the DM figures special again ( at least better than regular Elites), then not many fans will be sad if it did finish. It's not rocket science - if you're going to charge an extra $5+ for a figure, just make that figure worth the money... i've been able to get every new DM for like the same price as an elite. Just don't buy it early. It took like a month for Surfer sting to be $5 cheaper everywhere. so price isn't an issue. With respect, price is totally the issue... not everyone can get the figures cheaper later on (...I haven't seen Stone Cold or GAB Sting discounted anywhere!). Not to mention that that's kind of besides the point - the DM figures retail for more than a regular Elite, so they should be worth more than a regular Elite: if they're not releasing a first-time/big-name guy, Mattel should at least include some extra accessories or make it seem better than a regular Elite... especially when they're releasing DM figures of guys we've already had Elites of countless times before (Austin, Warrior, Cena). The Austin DM was a step in the right direction: he had a vest, knee-braces and THREE belts... nice move. But then we get Sting with... a plastic jacket? Warrior with.... some glasses and tassels? Cena with... a rubber shirt and knuckle-dusters? There is NOTHING about these figures that make them worthy of being DM releases... all could have easily fit with the regular Flashbacks somewhere. Actually, regular Cena Elites seem better than this DM - most have a removable arm-band and cloth shirt, at least...

It does come with the lock around the neck. Not sure why it was left out of the photos.

Isnt the Visor hat a new mold too? So Im a little more ok with a new hat mold, knuckles, and chain, and plastic shirt, but still for a DM he should have a Spinner title. All Cena elites get loaded with accessories.

I'm still not buying a DM Cena with less accesories for $24.99 than all the Elite Cenas with more accesories for $19.99.

I guess $25 bucks doesn't go as far as it used to. Nonetheless it's a solid figure, and I'll eventually own it when the time is right.

It does come with the lock around the neck. Not sure why it was left out of the photos. Probably because it was added after the backlash

This would look great with either version of the U.S title. Not DM price worthy however.

They shouldn't of put this in the DM line
I might pick it up, but this is a wait for retail for me to see what it's like in person

MattelDesignTeam , the Lock being added is great news! Cheers. If I'm being honest though it needs white trim on the lip of the visor and and then I'd be more easy paying for it as I get that new molds are expensive (chain, visor, knucks & new head) BUT with e44 Sasha getting all this & more then this Cena requires a bit more done with it I'm afraid. I don't even think this figure needs the shirt tbh, I'd rather have a US spinner belt as the shirt currently ruins the look of the MOC presentation imo and you could put the belt where the shirt is. But if the shirt stays it definitely needs just a little bit more deco, if not 'Chain Gang Soldier' then at least some minor white trim around the sleeves and neck lines. Still, the chain being added is good, just not quite enough for me personally. Add a belt in place of the shirt or spruce the shirt up and it's mine!

They should gave this DM Cena the big chain and US spinner title that came with the previous DM Cena. Problem solved

A Defining Moments figure typically meant you were getting a COMPLETE PACKAGE. Not this "Well it could probably be in a normal Elite series with slightly less paint deco" stuff we've been getting. Why is this in the DM line? The padlock is a welcome edition, if it's not plastic like the dog tags or something, but why not include his US Title again? Something to make this figure scream defining moments. I've passed on every DM figure since Sting. Re-release Taker, Austin, USA Sting, Macho, and now this are just...not Defining Moments.
Those first four figures of the revived line were what I expected this line to be.
Hogan had the WWF Title that we hadn't seen, a rippable shirt, bandana, cross...so many accessories Razor had the chain, the high amount of paint deco, the vest, and the IC Belt Ric Flair had that BEAUTIFULLY done robe and the belt Sting had that awesome "Leather" jacket, bat, choker, great paint deco
Compared to what we're getting now, it's a let down
