Statistically, when is the best time to end an auction for a WWE figure?
Since the majority of bids occur during those final moments, is it best to avoid ending the auction on Monday during Raw or now Tuesday's during Smackdown?
Or, are people online anyway during WWE programming, so they'd be even more likely to be bidding?

Best : 8PM - 11PM Basically Any Night
Worst : 5AM - 3PM On Weekdays Because of Most People's Work

I try to end mine on Friday evenings. Since a lot of people get paid on Fridays.

Between 8-9 pm Sunday nights. It's published somewhere. If you mean eBay that is. Try not to end them on Friday or Saturday nights as that's when a lot of your target audience will be out. Don't end them when there's a big sporting event on. Don't end them during the day as people will be out. Try to avoid middle of the month as nobody has money left.

I agree with the poster that said Sunday evenings. That's where I've had the most success.

It's based on what your selling, if your selling a lot and live on the east coast you do not want to have it end in prime time for the west coast as shipping will be brutal. Low end items end at 8pm est, higher end closer to 11

I have NEVER had any kind of luck ending auctions on Sundays. I know a lot of people say they do, but that has never been my experience.
I live in NC and I always try to end my auctions on Tuesday - Thursday, between 9pm and 11pm. That way it isn't too late for folks on the east coast and most of the people on the west coast are off work.

It doesn't matter when I end an auction. The "buyer" is not going to pay anyway. Buy it now only for me.

I like any auctions that end between 8pm-7am American time because I'm stuck in Korea temporarily and that's about 6am-9pm for me lol. I was recently winning a bid war for a pair of Elite Cryme Tyme figures with all accessories and the bidding was set to end at 1pm Pacific which is 3am for me and I had to work sooo needless to say I lost while asleep. I increased my max bid to $80 but it got taken by someone else because I was asleep. Oh well, I take a little happiness from the fact he had to pay $85 for a pair of figures that were going to be sold to me for $40 had nobody else bid on them  win some lose some... great white buffalllooo |

Any night can be decent depending on time, and what your selling. Weekends are the best as if you start at 8:00 on Saturday, you can get 2 Saturdays, a Sunday and Friday where people might look for your item. When I do fixed price I put them on anytime as it don't matter since I run them good till canceled.

The ending time doesn't really make a difference. The MAJORITY of people of eBay never end up paying anyways. I don't know what the hell has happened over the past year or two but there are a lot of deadbeats out there now.

There was a programme on here recently all about online shopping (and eBay) - and after research, they said the best time for an auction to close is between 10pm - midnight on Sunday. I always try to end any auctions on a Sunday - simply because most people are in or able to do last minute bids then (...and hopefully go a bit crazy...  ). |
