I have a big gripe with that too.

I mean they could sculpt a stinkin kneepad like Xpacs or that Elite blue camo Big Show. They had kneepads that went to the boot.
Or MDT could just paint the lower leg/calf black??
Elite Neville got some extra paint treatment on his legs and so has Triple H and Macho and this Magnum.
Easy easy fixes.

I mean so many lame inaccuracies 6 yrs in that MDT doesnt even try to correct.

I'm really happy that I'm not neurotic about knee pad length. I get being accurate but all of these threads devolve into nearly personal attacks against MDT.

Packaging looks great. Would have been cool if they used the JCP or NWA logo but the positives outnumber any negatives.

Pass on all. I can't believe they didn't bother to add knee pads on Shawn, it would of been the perfect way to rerelease it. Hopefully these rerelease a lead to other reissues like Papa Shango, Bam Bam and a few others.

Glad I preordered Magnum, but I'm not sure why they switched his trunks from red to black. A little disappointed about that.

As for the other figures, anyone who doesn't already have them should be estatic. All great figures that go for crazy prices on the secondary market. Well, I'm not sure how much Kamala goes for, but he's definitely the shinning star of this set. That figure is perfect!

To be fair, Jericho isn't a rerelease of the Elite 20 Jericho. Different head sculpt, different attire, and different kneepads.

i love the elite legends/flashbacks, and think its great they are adding to the standard flashbacks etc, but this set is one of the worst things i have ever seen in all my days.

warrior - a hard slap in the face - bill showing he cant fix problems like belt colour. strange, it will be blamed on budget yet its a direct re-release.

y2j - really? we have been waiting for a proper elite flashback for years, and he thinks THIS jericho from 2015 is a lost legend?!

hbk - once again he could have fixed the knee pads issue but didnt. another direcr re-release with no real effort/budget.

kamala - direct re-release

the undertaker. his wm heritage elite has been clogging shelves in the uk for over a year now,and its in our discount shops for a fiver.

all this crap rerelease nonsence is spreading into every line. mattel have had y2j under contract for 7 years now. bill REFUSES to listen to the people who matter.

the defining moments line has now been given up on by most hardcore collectors due to its sudden change into "totally not defining moments" line.

i like the idea of collecting figures, and although im not looking to sell for a profit, i like the idea of figures becoming rare. collectable.

im selling off my collection these days as the rereleases are taking out any of the collectability of the lines.

if l6 warrior from wm6 was released and rare, leave it that way, if undertaker e23 was going to be rare, leave it that way. some of the figures need to remain rare in order for collectors to enjoy getting them.

at this rate elite 50 will be legends 4 warrior, e12 kane, e12 shango - and for the people who have actually went out and spent the money to have these in our collections, we wont buy them!!

when charizard was a rare pokemon shiny they didnt re-release it, the fact that card was rare made the set what it was.

this whole flashbacks/legends thing isnt going to last.

at least jakks got one thing right. they didnt sitback spewing out already available figures for crazy prices.

If the wanted Warrior to sell would including a yellow-strapped I-C belt be a no-brainer?
